Visited with the family while in search of some good ramen in the Philadelphia area.
Lovely and well-maintained space. It was practically empty during our early afternoon weekday visit…presumably after the lunch rush and before the dinner rush.
Lots of delicious options in the menu…including sushi and ramen as the establishment name implies. Prices were very fair with lots of appetizers under $10, specialty sushi rolls around $12ish and ramen around $15-18.
We ordered a few items including two ramen bowls. Both were very sizeable and delicious. Some of the best ramen I’ve had. Food took about 20-25 minutes…not very long.
Staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating.
Clean bathroom.
Metered street parking wasn’t difficult to find during our early afternoon weekday visit. We utilized the Park Mobile app…but there are others you can use as well.

Overall- Great. Things to Know About the Food.
-The meat (specifically the pork) was both tender and flavorful. I have been to about a dozen different ramen restaurants and had received pork slices that were simply grey pieces of meat or flat/bland slices in other restaurants. In comparison, Megumi Ramen is several tiers better. Cons- their meat is more fatty than usual. However, the meat is made to be tender, and the fat of the meat “melts” in your mouth.
-Portion size. The portion size is quite reasonable. It is very generous in their megumi special.
-Dining Experience- The server was quite pleasant and kind, even patient. It was a calm , mostly quiet environment.

My daughter requested we eat here for her birthday. The atmosphere is enjoyable. The restaurant is clean and well taken care of. Takoyaki and pork buns were cooked well and delicious. I tried the shio ramen, based off their recommendation. It was great! We also enjoyed the seafood udon and sushi. The sushi display was beautiful. We will be coming back during our next visit.

The Ramen here is simply delicious! We all had the tonkotsu which was amazing, a deep pork/miso flavor. Pork belly was thick cut and flavorful. The noodles are abundant so no need to add extra. A slight wait to get in on a Saturday night (10-15 minutes) but worth it.

I am not a big fan of sushi I never liked it but I came here with a friend and we were trying new things and when I tell you this sushi place is amazing you have to believe me I ordered the spicy shrimp the one that comes in 6 pieces cooked with wasabi and garlic on the side and OMG my mouth is drooling just writing this it’s so yummy I loved it… if you want sushi and you don’t know where to go just come here I promise you it will hit the spot !!!

Just your average sushi and Japanese restaurant, nothing really stood out to me. The food was fine overall, but nothing memorable. The fish in the sushi didn’t seem the freshest, though it was still passable for a casual meal. Service was okay too, not bad, but nothing that made the experience feel special. If you’re looking for a quick and simple sushi fix and you’re in Chinatown, this place is fine, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

The sashimi was incredibly fresh, the texture was spot on, and the presentation was surprisingly finessed. The service was great, super kind and attentive. They have a solid lunch special so I will definitely be coming here more during the week.

A huge variety of sushi! The shrimp tempura udon bowl was delicious and a large portion. They had some cute desserts but we didn’t order any.

Really happy to find authentic, homemade Japanese curry in the states. It was just the right amount of spice, and came in a generous portion. I was also happy with the karaage, which was crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside. Really happy with the service too. Definitely recommend.
