You need to go! They are the nicest people on the world but the bakery / food is killer! The cinnamon rolls are out of the world. The pizza is excellent. The subs are great. If the door to Meg’s is closed, walk around to Beechwood’s bar because they are connected inside. Highly recommend. Trust me. I’m an expert cinnamon roll eater!

MegPies Cafe was a pleasant surprise! I was looking for a place for brunch for a quick bite that wasn’t busy and also had a great menu and MegPies delivered! It is a bakery AND cafe so in addition to the cupcakes, etc it has a fantastic burger/lunch menu.
I had the breakfast burger which was incredibly delicious & well made. It was a great size so it filled me up.
The cafe itself is decorated nicely and uniquely. It definitely will leave an impression on you.
Upstairs one of the managers set up a wall with board games. It was definitely a creative idea 🙂
Thanks for taking good care of a hungry, solo traveler

This little gem.is hidden away and we found it while looking for a different place but are so glad we did. Charm from days gone by. Food was good and the service excellent. It was the fun to watch the locals come in and chat with the cook and waitress. Small-town appeal.

Ordered 3 donuts and biscuits & gravy to go 10:29am e-receipt, got ticket and donuts and waited. 3 people working appeared disorganized, asked if I was waiting for coffee and to wait outside, noticed day old drink in windowsill, people waited at table for food, no wipe down after leaving, more intent on making mimosas, which looked decent, as people waited. Received B&G at 10:47am, and a sorry for the wait, see pic, had to reheat, bland, bland, and bland, and eggs that were way overdone. Better biscuits from a pillsbury can, donuts were chewy, They are building a bar nextdoor, maybe too much.

This place was amazing! First this donut was the best one I have ever had the dough was amazing and that is cream cheese in the center! I aslo had the sausage breakfast burrito, it was huge definitely could split with two people and stuffed full of everything breakfast and came with a side of sausage gravy. They are a busy little place keep that in mind, staff are very friendly and accommodating, you should definitely go in!

The food was nasty, the chowder tasted more like sweet cheesy potato soup, the fish and chips were overly crispy. For $54.00 i was expecting tender fish and clams in my soup. I didn’t take photos cause the food was too cheap looking. I did look at the desserts and they look yummy.. since I can’t have sugar I had to pass. Plus they do have outdoor seating ..that’s why I gave it a 3 star for atmosphere.
