This place is insanely good! We tried a ton of different stuff and was wowed by it all. We got:
-Pickle fries appetizer (im a pickle person and i fully endorse these), ranch was amazing too
-Pulled pork sandwich w street corn
-Brisket/smoked turkey plate w shoestring fries & Cajun onions/cabbage
-Banana pudding (everything is homemade down to the whipped cream, I could’ve eaten a vat of this)
Everyone there was super friendly and eager to chat about the food and make recommendations. Can’t wait to go back!!

Decided to stop in based on the good reviews and I was not disappointed. The staff was super friendly and the BBQ was some of the best I’ve had in the city, the pulled pork was exceptionally good. The prices are very reasonable with the three meat plate for $28 being more than enough to share between my daughter and I. I normally don’t care for banana pudding but they make theirs from scratch with real bananas instead of any artifical banana flavored pudding and was is absolutely delicious.
Over all, I would highly recommend stopping in for a meal.

Great BBQ in Madeira. I highly recommend this new place. Chili is a bit spicy and very flavorful. The brisket tacos are awesome. Just a bit of spice, but really good. Pulled chicken sandwich is great. The meat is smoked, and you get a choice of 3 BBQ sauces. And don’t forget the banana pudding!

We heard about this restuarant and had to give it a try. OMG! Their Smoked Wings are the bestest. So much flavor, I couldn’t risk ruining them by putting sauce( which was very tasty) on them! If you go try the Baked Beans. Another bestest on the menu!! If this place doesn’t hit your Top 5, I will resign as a reviewer…’NUF_SAID!! #GITuSome!!

We were traveling through, looking for dinner and searched for highly rated restaurants…Megan’s was on the list. So glad we took the short ride off I-71. I had the pulled brisket tacos and they were wonderful. Brisket was tender and juicy as well as flavorful with the right amount of spice. I had the street cirn side which was creamy and delicious. Hubby had the 2 meat combo w/2 sides: sliced brisket, pulled pork, beans and Mac & chesse. And, he sampled and liked all 3 BBQ sauces. He thoroughly enjoyed his meal. All were cooked and seasoned well and the pork still had good moisture. Very highly recommend giving this little restaurant a try. Bring your appetite because the meals are large, you will have to take some home!

We had the brisket and pulled pork in the family meal. Both were at the level of the best bbq I’ve had in Kansas City. The sides of sweet potato fries, with amazing sweet sauce to dip in, and Mac and cheese were great. What really topped it off were the great buns they served with them. We will be back and need to try the smoked wings.
