Originally, we planned to spend some time at Bratislava Castle, but for some reason it was closed to visitors. Since Google showed that the restaurant was open, we decided to stop by a little after 3 PM, even though our reservation was for 6 PM.
After we explained the situation, the gentleman who greeted us told us that the kitchen would close at 3:30 PM, but kindly offered to cancel our 6 PM reservation and let us order and dine immediately. We truly appreciated this flexibility.
The waitress was also very friendly and attentive, frequently checking on us and making sure everything was to our liking.
We started with burrata cheese with figs, which paired beautifully with the balsamic vinegar.
The Caesar salad was also excellent, with rich, savory cheese that complemented it well.
Since we are visiting from the United States, we ordered the Australian ribeye and tenderloin. The menu clearly explained the recommended doneness, and the waitress also suggested medium, which turned out to be a perfect choice.
Both steaks were exceptionally tender, juicy, and full of deep beef flavor. Honestly, it’s not easy to find this level of steak quality even in the U.S.
We highly recommend this restaurant, and especially suggest trying their aged beef.

It’s a bit on the pricey side, but honestly, worth every euro. The tartare was also excellent, and my whole family enjoyed the evening.
If you love good meat and a nice dinner out, I definitely recommend this place!

The staff is very kind, smiling, they speak also English very well and the atmosphere is really nice.
I have nothing I can complain about this place, they have also parking right in front of the restaurant ! I also like it’s not in the city center which gives opportunities also to other district of the city as in the city center everything is getting more and more average and for tourists.
I will definitely come back again and spread the voice around about it.

How many times do you tip?
It’s normal to give about 20%. I was asked many times.
How can 20% be normal?
Is it a mistake of VAT?
I run a company in Slovakia so I’m not confused with VAT.
I can only think they are licking me because I am Asian.
And this is not a mistake.
I gave a 5€ tip in cash.
After a while they asked for a tip, saying it was too little, a minimum of 10% is normal in Slovakia.
You should admit your mistake and change the quality of your service.
