First time here and it was actually recommended by a sweet old lady I was speaking to on a train ride back from NYC. I bookmarked it and made sure that I would visit since it’s not far from where I live and where I usually hang out.

They deserve no stars but thats not an option. We just left here because there was bugs (Weevils) in our food and it was in 4 different plates of food and when we told them and showed them they took it to the back and came out and said it’s not bugs, we then showed them all the other plates and left.

Meemah offers a mix of Chinese and Malaysian food. Our favorites include the spicy pork and shrimp dumplings with peanut sauce, crispy Sesame Prawns and the Sauteed string beans. They offer both dine in or take out.

The very regimented service was slow, in spite of being the busiest I’ve see it, with three servers, the service should’ve been better and at times was non existent. We waited for water refills and requested soy sauce and got an empty decanter.

I used to go to this place for years when I worked over in Iselin. What happened to Meemah? The place has changed since they got new ownership. They are not friendly. The greeter was unwelcoming to me and 1st time guests. The waiter was rude and snatched the menu from my hand and more over they over peppered my food because the food was too spicy to eat. And the quality of the chicken was spongy. I would never go there again. If I could give them Zero stars I would. So sad, it used to be nice.

Have been going over 15 years. Downhill now. Ordered general tso chicken on Friday, horrible. Soft and doughy. I had to put in air fryer to crisp up. What has happened, very disappointed.

Quite a small establishment for a restaurant. We decided to pickup dinner here on the way home from the Convention Center. Food was pretty good. This was also reflected by how busy it was for takeout. Not completely authentic Chinese food, although it had some good choices to make up for it. Although quite a distance from us I’d go back again if in the nabe. One caveat – a touch pricey.

I was soooooo excited to eat some delicious dumplings – pork dumplings were great and absolutely loved the sesame wontons!! Beef chow fun was excellent, really enjoyed the thick noodles. The chicken and garlic came with tons of veggies, and can’t go wrong with sautéed green beans. The chicken Pad Thai was delicious, a sizable portion that will last us two meals. Everything was great! Seasoned perfectly, flavorful and not overly salty, very delicious!
