Can’t reach them by phone at 7pm to ask if we received the correct platter. We ordered 1/4 brisket that comes w/3 party wing (pieces) and 2 sides. We didn’t ask for fries because we had the mac & cheese and the collard greens. The box was halfway full of fries . For $32 68 (we thought we were going to be able to share the brisket but it was cut very thick. It’s a good thing I went back in to get another honey corn bread because the one that was supposed to come with the dinner was not even in the box or the bag so we still only had the 1 (again, we wanted to share). The dirty rice was inedible, too hard and dry (because it was the very last serving but we did pay for it). This is a little frustrating because I spoke on how amazing this place was. The brisket itself was perfectly cooked and awesome, if you don’t want sauce on it, it’s good bbq that does not need sauce because it’s smoked nicely. I would write this off as an “off” day, it was at the end of the day on a Friday so they’re still worth a try on another day, maybe earlier in the day..

We ordered delivery for our office lunch and the food was exceptional! Our office could not stop raving about how well seasoned and delicious everything was. The brisket especially was a huge hit and the burnt ends were the best part. Definitely recommend for your catering needs, Charles was helpful at making sure we had enough food for our guest count and a delight to work with

I visited Chicago for the weekend and was really excited to try Medley’s since I don’t eat pork and beef ribs are hard to come by.
The man who took our order was anything but friendly. The women were nice but the service was the least of our issues. We had 2 $30 half slab dinners that we basically couldn’t eat because the ribs were cooked so long and hard that the meat was inedible. Thankfully I ordered extra bbq sauce so I basically had to drown the ribs or else chewing gave me a headache. I wasn’t a fan of the macaroni or greens either (neither was flavored well to me). My friend did like the rice though. My other friend ordered hot links which could’ve been used as a weapon since they were also hard as bricks. So yeah, we really should’ve gone back for refunds (because I really can’t believe they served us those meats) and returned the mess we were given but we were on a tight schedule so this review will have to suffice.

Medley Grill & BBQ catered a lunch for my organization, and the food and service were top-tier. We ordered chicken, ribs, hot links, greens, red beans and rice, and baked beans. All beef and turkey products, which are hard to find in the world of BBQ, are truly appreciated by those who don’t eat pork. There was plenty of food, and many of the team went back for seconds and packed up food to take away. This was a ten out of ten for me and the team. I’m definitely ordering again.

I really wanted to give 4 stars because the food had great flavor, but unfortunately everything was cold.
I ate it immediately in the parking lot, so it should’ve been hot.
The greens, wings with the sweet bbq sauce, and brisket, and beef rib were flavorful but cold.
I had two beef ribs and one wasn’t edible. One piece of brisket was tender, while the other was dry like it had been sitting out.
The mac and cheese was only slightly warm, but not flavorful in my opinion.
I ordered around 6:30 PM (they closed at 8). I also had to go back in for utensils and napkins, and I didn’t receive the extra sauce I paid for. Didn’t notice I didn’t receive my sauce until I got back into the car.
I drove 45 minutes after seeing this place on social media, so this was disappointing.
The flavors show real potential … if temperature and consistency improve, this could easily be a 4-star spot, maybe even 5!
Try it yourself and hopefully you have a better result!

3.5 rating. I was excited to find a new barbecue spot near me. The customer service was great. The gentleman in the kitchen was honest about the extra wait time. The food wasn’t bad. I got the turkey tips, yams, brisket baked beans and Mac and cheese. The sides were good, but my tips were tough and heavy on the black pepper. I wasn’t able to try the honey cornbread muffin because it was extremely hard.

First time trying this hidden gem, Medley’s BBQ and found it to be pretty darn good. I had an assortment of beef brisket, turkey tips, beef ribs and smoked wings. EVERYTHING was seasoned just right and tender. The brisket and beef ribs were especially tender. Two thumbs up

Food was really good. Beef ribs were tender and tasted flavorful. Turkey tips were good also. Only knock is when I got all the way home realized they mistakenly gave me wings instead of the brisket I ordered. Too Far to go back but they were good too. Mac a cheese was good but those brisket baked beans are a must.

We have a variety of items. My personal favorite was the beef hot link. It was very spicy but delicious. My husband likes the brisket and beef ribs. The cornbread was moist, soft, and somewhat sweet. We had our sauce placed on the side. I can’t speak to the service nor the atmosphere. We ordered ahead of time, and it was ready on time.
