We absolutely loved our experience and everything we ate. We had the hummus dip with warm pita bread, tabouleh salad, lamb gyro, chicken shawarma, and more! Everything was fresh and delicious. I am middle eastern and have high standards for mediterranean foods and the Mediterranean Fresh Grill exceeded my desires for fresh, authentic, creative, and nourishing mideast cuisine. Priscilla was an amazing waitress, happy to answer my questions about the spices, with warmth. Priscilla made the place feel like an oasis of calm and happiness. We sampled several items and everything was fantastic, and I can’t imagine anything on the menu being anything but excellent. One of my favorite kinds of cuisine is Mediterranean. I’ve tried so many places in central Florida, from Orlando, Tampa, Kissimmee, etc and this place is hands down the BEST Mediterranean food I’ve ever had. I’ve been coming to this restaurant for over 4 years and they nail it every. Single. Time. The food always taste so fresh! I’m a huge fan of falafel and at some places it taste like they made 500 of them and stuck them in the freezer. Not this place, the falafel is aromatic, fresh, and perfectly cooked every time. Please do yourself a favor and try the flash fried cauliflower and the stuffed grape leaves! Like WOW are those good! Also the BEST Garlic whip I’ve ever tried!!! You can really tell the chef is passionate about food. You can taste the love in each dish!

My husband and I recently made the drive from Lakeland to Winter Haven to try The Mediterranean Grill, and let me tell you—it was absolutely worth every mile! If you’re craving authentic and delightful Lebanese cuisine, this spot is a must-visit. It was truly a pleasant experience from start to finish, thanks to the incredible food and the warmest hospitality.
The evening started on a perfect note when the chef sent out a complimentary plate of garlic flatbread—a delicious welcome that instantly set the tone.
For appetizers, the flash-fried cauliflower was phenomenal. It was perfectly cooked, crispy, and savory with a yummy drizzle —easily one of the best ways to start a meal. But the real star of the show was the red lentil soup. It was so rich and flavorful that both my husband and I had to order a bowl, and I even got a container to go for lunch tomorrow.
We also enjoyed their salads. I had the crisp house salad, and my husband chose the vibrant Mediterranean salad. The star component of both? That dressing. It was exceptionally good—fresh, tangy, and unforgettable.
Beyond the food, the service truly shined. Our waitress was fantastic, and it was so nice when Cindy, the chef’s wife, stopped by our table to chat. She even brought me my to-go soup and shared some of her personal favorite dishes, making us feel completely at home.
The combination of authentic, delicious food and genuinely warm hospitality ensures that we will definitely be back to The Mediterranean Grill soon!

Stopped here for dinner on a Saturday night. We were in town at Legoland. What delight it has been to dine here. All the seasoning is on point, reminds of what I tasted and grew up to know as Lebanese food. Plating and presentation was spot on. Portions are hearty. Meat cooked to perfection. Small business running on finese. The server took well care of us. I am surprised that food of this quality was this affordable.
