I imagine when they first opened their food was very good but my experience both times were terrible. The prices definitely don’t match the quality of the food. The food looks and smells so good but the taste is off. My mother got jerk chicken rice and collard greens and threw her platter out. I had fried fish, baked Mac, collard greens, sweet potatoes and corn bread. The fish fry fell off the fish, the fish tasted freezer burnt. The greens tasted like they cooked it in sugar, the Mac and cheese had no flavor the sweet potatoes were decent though and that corn bread was just terrible. It just seemed as though they didn’t care, no love whatsoever in their food. They wouldn’t eat it themselves. Save your yourself, save your money.

Ordered ribs, Mac and cheese with 2 sides of yams. The pork ribs were a 10. Meat fell off the bone and seasoned well. Sweet potatoes I give a 3. Initial bite was yummy but there is too much cinnamon which stops you from taking more than 3 bites. Mac and cheese gets a 1. Over cooked noodles, bland and cheese combo not great. Ordered corn bread also but did not receive. Will definitely order the ribs again and try the yams a different day. No Mac and cheese for me.

The customer service was amazing & the atmosphere was so warm and inviting. The restroom and eating space was so clean & last but not least the food was great! Everything was well seasoned & the fish was cooked to order. 10/10 definitely recommend!

I don’t know what happen my people. The chicken smelled like wet chicken. Not that it was rancid it was more like they took it out the package and put it in the oven. It smelled !! You guys are always in point. Very disappointed. I couldn’t eat it. The Mac and cheese no flavor and watery. My coconut and beans rice some portions were hard others soft. I was so looking forward to my food.

The girls working there are legit! The food is disappointing. Definitely could use more seasoning. Only went once for the seafood. Eh… Rasta pasta was not Rasta pasta (not sure what it was) If they don’t step their game up it’s not going to last long. Go eat at Jamaican D’s in Philly & take some advice. Whatever Caribbean person is cooking in the back of this place is catering to the Americans way too much. PLEASE SEASON MORE PROPERLY! I live only down the block. It would be so convenient! Honest review. You will be waiting a long while for your food. Call in advance to make sure they have items because they can run out quickly. Food was real good otherwise. Staff was nice. I would eat here again.

I am BIG on first impressions. We were Tourists from Philly, PA. Everyone working there was so friendly, and welcomed me and my family there for our first time. The food was delicious – tasty and tender. I had oxtails, Mac, and collards. The Momz had turkey wing, Mac, collards, seafood pasta, and garlicky shrimp. We both enjoyed.
