Went a few weeks ago. I got the ribs, beans and mac and cheese. I will say, ribs were pretty tough, could’ve used another hour. But the seasoning was great. Straight salt, pepper, garlic it seemed.
Beans and mac and cheese were lackluster. Really no effort put into them. No seasoning at all.
But I can’t give it 1 or 2 stars, because the owner was a super nice and cool guy. Very passionate about the bbq. And I respect that. Just because of that I’ll come back and try something else.

Finally stopped by to try the Meat Preacher and it did not disappoint. I’ve eaten at so many Texas BBQ joints and smoked many briskets myself, and let me tell you, no one has anything on the Meat Preacher! We tried the sliced brisket, chopped brisket, ribs, sausage, turkey, Mac-n-cheese, and potato salad. Everything was cooked to perfection. The meats were all smoked with just the right amount of smoke, was tender and moist, and the portions are huge! And make sure you try the smoked turkey. I could smell the turkey as soon as I opened the box. It was so delicious! I happened to stop by on my birthday so as a bonus the Preacher prepared a small sample of his creations for me to try. The Preacher is such a nice guy. I promise you will be happy you stopped to give him a try because BBQ doesn’t get any better than this! You WILL NOT go away hungry. Check his fb page for the menu and schedule. He will also cater your events. Amen!

Meat Preacher is by far the best BBQ in the area. Great smokey flavor on all of his meats, (ribs are my personal favorite), and the cheesy bacon potato side is also delicious.
His Texas Twinkies are like playing Russian roulette – sometimes mild, sometimes an inferno – but they’re always delicious.
Brandon and his staff are always friendly every time we come and eat.

Mannnnn!!! This is the real deal!!! Best bbq around! The brisket is so tender it just falls apart and melts in your mouth and the ribs were the best I’ve ever had. The sides are great too and my lunch leftovers were enough for dinner lol. The service is warm and friendly and eager to serve their community. I’m a new regular without question.

My husband and I ate here for the first time today. We sampled all the smoked meats and had brisket nachos. It was all amazing! The loaded mashed potatoes were delicious and different than anything I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The portions are huge for the price. You will not be disappointed so please pay them a visit. Definitely the best BBQ around!

I have been to Meat Preacher numerous times since discovering it. I have had their brisket, ribs, turkey, sausage, pulled pork (when available) and fajita meat (when available). Everything I have eaten has been absolutely delicious. It is 100% worth the drive every time. It is a small operation so be sure to check facebook to make sure it is not sold out. The owner is such a kind soul who seems to love making good BBQ for everyone.

Meat Preacher has delicious BBQ and friendly service! The sandwiches are delicious and you gotta try the corn as well as the giant potatoes! Get there early and maybe you will even score a Texas Twinkie. Owner loves his work and supports the community.
