My wife and I had a great experience! Both of us became BBQ snobs after visiting Austin Texas a few years back. Florida BBQ is just not typically up to par so we tend to judge a bit harshly. I’m so happy to report that Meat n Fire really delivered!
Brisket is where everyone tends to fall short. I’m not gonna sit here and tell you that it was Texas quality, but it truly was fantastic by Florida standards! I got a nice end piece which was nice and toasty. The pulled pork was great, and so was the sausage. I really loved that mandarin oranges were a side option! Have me sometime fresh and juicy to cut through all the savory fat. I also think their cole slaw was great quality, as was the potato salad.
This is a great spot and I highly recommend it! We hit it on the way from Melbourne to Tampa. Definitely kept us full! My only suggestion would be that they get a solid mustard based Carolina sauce. That was the only thing missing for me.

Had lunch there today, quick service, smiling servers, good ambient, low volume music to set the atmosphere without interfering with conversation. Food was flavorful and bbq sauces were delicious, I had a salad with brisket and it pleased me well!

I just stopped into Meat & Fire 20 mins before close. I felt sooo bad that it was so close to closing time for them but it was one of the only places on the way that wasn’t fast food. This was my first time stopping in after passing it a zillion times. The girls inside were SO sweet and gave great recommendations when I asked what is good and wouldn’t require them to pull anything back out. I ordered togo and got the pulled pork sandwich and my husband got the 3 meat dinner, brisket, 1/4 chicken and pork. It was a super quick turn around and For the end of the day, we were wildly impressed. The food is delicious and very well priced. We will definitely be stopping in again!

I have a big BBQ background including managing a BBQ restaurant for 7 years. I don’t know what recipes they use but it’s not southern. The Mac-n-chz is not baked and chalky, the collards have tomatoes and had a sour aftertaste, my bbq baked beans had a piece of plastic in it, the cornbread is dry, garlic toast flat and doesn’t seem homemade, and the burnt ends which are supposed to be a bbq delicacy is more gristle than meat (photo attached). You would think after spending $90 you’d get quality product. Oh and they also knew when I ordered we wanted extra cornbread but didn’t even have enough to cover the meal so they gave us garlic bread instead. I’m underwhelmed and will be continuing to search for a good bbq spot.

An awesome bbq spot! The staff was very kind and welcoming. I even tried to buy some extra cornbread (so good!) and they just gave it to me. The brisket, ribs and pulled pork were awesome. Also, the hot bbq sauce had a wonderful flavor to it and was perfect with the brisket. Short version is awesome food, great vibes and good people!

This is a pretty color BBQ place. I stopped in here over the weekend for lunch recently. I’ve been wanting to give it a try for some time due to the positive reviews. The service here is very good and the staff is super friendly. I tried the three meat plate because I like to sample the different types of BBQ. I got the burnt ends, chopped pork, and the ribs. I’d say the best of the three was definitely the ribs. They had a good dry rub seasoning on them that was very tasty and they were cooked very well, not fall off the bone, but right at they should be with just enough grip on the bone. The burnt ends were probably second and had a good smoky bark on them. My only complaint is that they were just a tad dry, but not overly dry as to make them tough. They were still tender and tasty but could have just been a little better. I guess I’d say I was a little disappointed in the chopped pork BBQ. I’m an NC native so that’s our specialty and my standards are probably a bit higher for this. It should stand on its own without needing sauce. The sauce should be just a nice addition. The chopped pork BBQ needed sauce because it was fairly dry. The smoke flavor was good but it had to have some sauce to moisten it up a bit. Luckily this place has some great sauces that helped this out. The portion sizes were very good and I had enough with the three sides (I did all fries) to make a second meal out of everything. Overall a very solid place to eat BBQ. I’d like to gob back and try out the brisket and maybe some other things on the menu.

I’ve always been a fan of great onion rings. Being from Atlanta… The Varsity has always been my A++++ for great onion rings. Meat and Fire has to be the BEST I have found in all of Orlando so far! Killer guys! So good… that ketchup or ranch… or ANYTHING… is an insult!
Recently had the chicken Philly and Smoked Cuban. Tonight was the grass fed burger.
I’d been CRAVING a good burger… and you guys smashed it! If you leave without a little banana pudding… you’ve cheated yourself.
Great job guys!

We visit St. Cloud a couple of times a year and Meat and Fire is always one of our stops for dinner. I got the brisket dinner plate which comes with three sides and a choice of cornbread or garlic bread. The brisket was very tender, the beans were very tasty, and the cornbread was very moist and delicious. I feel that the Mac and cheese and potato salad has changed since our last visit but it was still good

We had a nice family dinner. Chicken was super flavorful. Decided to be adventurous and ordered okra although it was nicely breaded and fried, I still don’t like it.
We also ordered a regular and a bison burger, both were good. We weren’t fans of the potato salad but we’re happy there was variety on the sides. The bbq sauces are good too . I liked this location, it’s family friendly just please don’t feed the ducks.
