Stopped by to try their yummy chai latte which is the owners personal blend of flavors and a golden latte. The owner, Evelyn, was there and is so friendly. They grow their own coffee beans on their own farm in Guatemala! Loved that we found a local small business and that their product and service is so good. Keep up the good work and high five to Vivi who made our delightful drinks.

I’ve been a huge fan of this place for a long time—visiting at least once a week has been part of my routine. I’ve always enjoyed their consistently great coffee and delicious food, especially the cinnamon cake, chocolate cupcake, and BLT sandwich.
However, I was a bit disappointed during my most recent visit on Friday . I decided to try something new and ordered the blueberry lemon cake. Unfortunately, it didn’t meet the high standards I’ve come to expect here. The slice I received wasn’t fresh—it was chewy, which I found unusual for cake, i assume as it seemed to be the end of the piece. I did not even eat it because it was that chewy, also the cake piece was very small.
I’ve always appreciated the excellent service and quality this place offers, which is why this experience stood out. I’m sharing this in hopes that it helps maintain the high quality regulars like me have come to love. Looking forward to many more great visits.

Located in the mall past the food court. They have yummy treats like muffins and delicious coffee. I’ve been here a few times and the customer service is always great – they’re super friendly! The food they have is great but the coffee is meh. Hot coffee is always delicious but the frozen coffees seem to have a weird texture.

The beans is proper good arabica and not those nasty robusta! The Americano is very good and the extra shot is not even cost a dollar! Would recommend if you need some good pick-me-up!

Ok so they have 5 stars for a reason! This place is sooooooo good! I had a chance to try Mean Mug and it was awesome! I mean with a name like that you have to be great right!
The baristas were super friendly. I was greeted upon entering with kind smiles and a warm welcome!
They had seasonal specials so I decided to try one. I got the pumpkin pie frappe! It was AMAZING. Oh and dare I say it was better than STARBUCKS!!!! Yup! I said it! It was BETTER!!!!!! The graham cracker was an extra twist and I loved it!
I also got the bacon, Turkey Bravissimo! Ok pause……….this sandwich was bursting with flavor….LITERALLY! I want to try all of the sandwiches but I feel like I need to have this one again! It was delicious!
They had a colorful drink and my taste buds wouldn’t let me leave without it! They called it the iced tropical sunrise. I call it a cup of refreshing deliciousness!
This coffee shop also sells tea. They are located on the first floor inside of Carolina Place mall!

My wife and I came in from Iowa to care for my parents in Charlotte. We found this “gem” while waiting on my father to have a procedure at the hospital across the road. The coffee was so good, the employees were incredibly helpful and happy, and we loved the name! I wish Mean Mug was in Iowa now! Who knows, if the owner keeps crushing it like they are, perhaps they will go national! I’m hoping so! Charlotte has a blessing in this place!
