Food was delicious. Ordered oatmeal with blueberries and walnuts. Walnuts was fresh. Oatmeal it was chewy. My husband ordered veggie omelette with cheese. It was yum too. Coffee was good. Dishes didn’t smell eggy like other diners. We starred the place. We will come back again. Traveling from NJ. I just added my food picture. I didn’t take more photos. It was simple and homey. And cash only.

My fiance and I had the best experience here! The diner was extremely clean, the staff was very friendly and service was quick, and the food was delicious! He had a pork roll egg and cheese, I had eggs, bacon, toast and home fries and we split chocolate chip pancakes. Super close to our new home, too so we will definitely be back! Thanks for everything!

Heading down the loop from Stroudsburg to Wind Gap, I was coming through Route 209 in Brodheadsville and finally stopped in the Meadowbrook Diner, a place I’ve driven past for over 10 years and finally today was the day!! cashonly
Retaining much of the old school flavor of its construction, Meadowbrook has the typical countertop seating and comfy booths off to the left and some tables also. The old school glass fixtures give it classic character. Parking is a breeze with a simple turn off of 209 right in front.
The menu has a good variety and what you’d expect from diners. I got the vegetable omelette with rye toast and home fries. The coffee was good and kept full and service was on point and the ladies here were friendly.
The food arrived in about 10 minutes and was spot on! There was also quite a crowd entering and leaving steadily on a Tuesday mid-morning, which is a good sign of a busy place!
For old school diner service and quality food I would stop back at the Meadowbrook without question! Make sure if you’re nearby to stop in and see for yourself!

We are regulars at Meadowbrook. What I enjoy most, is it is mostly a woman run business from the cooks to the waitresses to the owner. You take a step-back in time, and you’re back to a traditional 80s-90s style diner. At least like the ones I grew up with. The atmosphere is cozy and friendly. Prices are reasonable. It is cash only, but our tab has never been more than 20-30 for two people. And the coffee isn’t overpriced priced either. We get seated right away. The place is always packed because it is just a nice diner to go to.

Not sure why this place is avg as high a rating as it is. First of all cash only? It’s 2019. The service was slow, bordering on non-existent. We never got drink orders taken, our drinks were just brought with the meal. The food was avg at best. Waited 15 min for a refill before handing my cup over the counter to one of the cooks for a refill. Not sure why so many people are impressed with this place. Hindsight your better off going to Wendy’s.

We love coming here. The staff is so wonderful and thoughtful. It was my daughter’s birthday. I had mentioned she wanted a unicorn for her birthday and they made her a unicorn pancake! How insane is that?! (Note, they were able to make it because they weren’t too busy at that time)

Great atmosphere, I noticed how the waitresses lowered themselves for the older couples , or sat across to take their orders their comfort- that goes a long way to telling the kind of concern and affection and appreciation they have for their customers . My waitress was Victoria I believe, an absolute professional and a sweetheart to all her tables. The food was excellent- no surprise this is a regular weekly destination for so many! Well done!!! Give them a visit if you are nearby.
