Stopped at MC’s Taphouse while transferring dogs up north — it popped up as the perfect midpoint. I had it noted in my travel log for their smashburgers, so when I saw it, I jumped on it.
Twisted my wife’s arm for a cocktail and appetizer, and sure enough — smashburgers were on the menu. We split one since I’ve been on the hunt for a solid smashburger lately. It was a strong 4 out of 5. I wouldn’t mind a little more seasoning on the patty, but the sauce and Grandma’s secret house pickles absolutely made it. I’m not usually a pickle guy, but taking these off would’ve been a crime. They added real dimension to the burger.
Fries (more like crispy petals) were a nice surprise — perfect for dipping.
Drinks were on point. I had a Whiskey Smash, she had the blueberry lemonade margarita — both really good.
Quick note: I always check the bathroom (ode to my brother Tommy). It was a bit underserved when we arrived, but once I mentioned it, the staff handled it immediately. That effort matters.
Good food, good drinks, plenty of TVs if you’re there for sports. Solid win for a lazy Sunday afternoon.
Peace, people.

Ok, So Im not a WRAP girl, I love me some hot food and I love a variety. So my man and I went to MC TAPHOUSE which I believe is related to Muddy Cow , we got Chicken Vodka Parm which mixing all the bites together it was BOMB, they should give a piece of garlic bread or something but it was bomb, the Birria Tacos were good and the way we ordered our Chicken Ceasar wrap, no Ceasar dressing and banana peppers on the side with 2 sides of their homemade RANCH, here is why, if we were full we could bring the wrap home and it wouldn’t be soggy or yellow from the banana peppers. Each bite I poured ranch and added a banana pepper and it was HANDS DOWN THE BEST WRAP IVE EVER HAD. I eat out alot, I wanted to go back the next day. Each bite had more very good quality grilled blackened chicken then anything the tortilla was that good quality chewy with some grill marks its was so FIRE I wanted to go back. Then the Taphouse Breeze drink the bartender made up was tasty. Highly recommend this place and the items me and my man ordered.

The food is always so good, except please tell whoever the cook is that is plating desserts that if they won’t wash their hands after prepping garlic, to at least put on a glove. Didn’t love the taste of garlic all over the almonds on our banana dessert. Was weird. Food is amazing otherwise. Service is always subpar, doesn’t matter if it’s mostly dead or packed, servers are barely around and disappear before you blink. Might have to try the other location next time. Still loved it though. VERY loud inside today.

Hi – we ordered food at this location tonight. We selected “No Pink” on 3 burger orders. All burgers came back extremely pink and one of them was actually inedible (even for my husband, who LOVES ‘rare’ meat). I called and talked to a manager who was EXTREMELY rude (he wouldn’t even tell me his name) who assured me our orders all said “medium rare”. I have my order, where we selected “no pink” on all of them; furthermore, one of them wasn’t edible, which is beyond medium rare. The manager insisted I was wrong the entire time, insinuated I was lying, and said “so, you want free food. I’ll give you the free food. Goodbye”. I even told him I would drive back down and show him the order slip that said “no pink” to which he basically ignored and ended up hanging up. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced such blatant disrespect in a customer service setting before. 10/10 will never be back and hope he never treats another customer like this again.
*The “manager” called back and is also requesting picture to “prove” myself. Here you go!

While staying at a nearby hotel, this place stood out on Google for the reviews of the traditional cheese curds, which were phenomenal! My server Pat was very prompt and helped me get my order in before they switched to the limited late night menu. The regular menu is big! He helped me choose a great burger (flaming blueberry) which was good but a little small for the price. Given the name of this place I wish there were some good local craft beer selections but none of them excited me so I got wine instead and was satisfied. It has a loud sports bar vibe, as one would expect.

Food was delicious but the Baked Boursin was too spicy and the menu did not indicate this was a very spicy dish. We had Dill Pickle Cheese curds my husband enjoyed them. We ordered the Beer Cheese Bacon burger with Buffalo fries. Both were very good. We brought food home we will come back to try other dishes.

The duck wontons were amazing. I was hesitant but you will not regret it. The burgers, fries, mac and cheese were all great as well. Others enjoyed the walleye and said it was very good. It looked delicious. Service was not bad considering the number of tables our server had.

This place is very good! Bar food on steroids! The menu is unique and on point! We started with the duck breast wontons! Those alone are worth the trip. Then that spicy dipping sauce oh yeah. The Wife ordered the wrangler burger loved it! I had the catfish it was really good it was served on top of a bed of fried rice had a really good corn avocado sauce. We also had fries they were so crispy and good nothing like fries from other places. The vibe was chill pull tabs available too. Server was knowledgeable. The only negative was that our table had a severe wobble. We will be back!

For hundreds of years, my people have heard of the legendary cinnamon rolls served here.
I traveled over a thousand miles to see them.
They got rid of the cinnamon rolls.
Heck with this, I got myself a flight home.
Ps. This is not w Monte Christo. It was tasty.

Probably the worst wings I’ve ever had. Cajun dry rub. No flavor AT ALL. And I wasn’t expecting jumbo, I hate jumbo wings so unreal.
