Rated food at 3 stars, as it wasn’t fabulous bar food, nor the worst. Our 2 Irish dishes were excellent, but our friend’s regular bar food items were just ok. Service was great, however 2 of our friends arrived late as they drove in from Long Beach. They had to wait extra long due to their order ticket “fell” and was hidden/lost in the kitchen. I felt they at least could’ve gotten a free item a free drink or a discount due to that. They didn’t ask, and it was not offered 1 was military and the other LAPD law-enforcement. Parking in Coronado is horrendous!

This place is the SEALS hangout from time to time. I was intrigued by that, so we stopped in recently while in Coronado. Great atmosphere and food too. I feel like a fool for not getting pix of the food, but I was so taken by the interior of the joint. Good food and cold beer is all you need to know. Stop in and check this local legend out ASAP.

I’ve been here a few times but it’s first time that I had food. I was disappointed. We ordered a shepherds pie to share. They were nice enough to split it into two but with extra charges that we were not aware of. The flavor was good but it’s very salty. We also ordered a grilled cheese sandwich but my son only ate a quarter of it because it was dry. I was very disappointed when they brought out a bowl of boxed mac n cheese! That’s a huge disappointment to me. We also ordered fries with Guinness gravy off the happy hour menu. The price was great and the fries were good, however the gravy wasn’t anything special and it’s very salty as well.
That said, this is prob a place for drinks but not food. The bar area is unique and that’s prob the only thing that seems appealing for me. There are other better bars to check out in the area.

Brother an I hit this place after a huge day in base. Shepards Pie was great and drinks were cold. Will definitely be back. Thank you to the staff for being so kind and welcoming to an outsider.

The founder was a Navy SEAL Corpsman, so I’m already kind of biased. This is an amazing bar, with amazing people who love what they do and are proud of this establishment. I would definitely return.

Stopped into this pub after exploring The beautiful Hotel Del down the street. Huge patio and cold beer. Our waitress Tara was very friendly and attentive, good suggestions on share plates, the crusties were so good and she talked us into trying their clam chowder, had a lot to live up to since we are all from New England, and it did not disappoint. Great service, well worth a visit

Near the Hotel Del Coronado and one of the Hop on Hop off stops for the Trolley. You get 10% off your lunch with your trolley ticket stubs. The menu was typical Irish Pub fare. Our sandwiches were overstuffed and yummy. Sat outside in the courtyard and enjoyed the atmosphere and people watching!

This restaurant is a mix bag. Location is excellent in downtown Coronado , but the food is average and the service is pretty good.. I was seated immediately and the menu looked great. I asked if the fish and chips was recommended and the waiter said yes. Ended up getting the half order thank goodness, as it was very greasy, and the fries were very greasy as well. But if you were looking for a bar with a good atmosphere, I would recommend this location. My drink was good and the decor was very good as well as a lot of of the Navy seals and a lot of artifacts to look at.

Food was excellent!! Service was even better!! For apps we had the pub crusties and onion rings both were delicious definitely recommend!! For entres it was the shepherds pie and Reuben. We told them we were sharing the shepherds pie and they split it so cutely and it was delicious. Reuben sandwich also bomb. Thanks for a great experience!!!
