A great restaurant!!!! Larger than I had remembered the room felt intimate and cozy. The roaring fireplace added to a the perfect ambiance for a cold winter night.
The food was fabulous with ample servings.
Our server Najii made us feel special and was very attentive and friendly.
The meal was served in a timely manner with lots of attention to detail.
We ordered the lamb Osso Bucco and the Salmon entrees – fabulous. Can’t wait to go back and sit outside on the patio.

Had a birthday dinner here and loved the relaxed, laid-back vibe. The atmosphere is super chill, perfect for just hanging out and enjoying a meal. I tried the pretzel, potato leak, and a burger, all three were really good, tasty, and satisfying. Service was friendly and the overall experience made for a nice, low-key celebration. Definitely a great spot if you’re looking for casual, comforting food in a relaxed setting!

Great place! The outdoor seating is gorgeous, the vibe is amazing, and yes — it’s super pet friendly. Huge win! They even made a special grilled, unseasoned steak for my pup even though there’s no dog menu. Talk about five-star service!

McLoone’s is a West Orange staple. The food is delicious and freshly made, and inexpensive on top of all that. The wait staff, especially Najii, are incredibly attentive, constantly filling the water glasses and checking if we need anything. The views of the lake are awesome. If you’ve never been here you should come immediately, and if you’ve been here before you need to come again.

My wife and I went for dinner. Sat on the patio overlooking the reservoir. Waitress was friendly, fun, and checked on us diligently. Shrimp appetizer was delicious, entrees were excellent (skirt steak and salmon), dessert was perfect end to outstanding overall experience (incredible carrot cake and chocolate peanut butter cake). Prices were very much aligned with the quality of the food and experience (good value). Walked around the reservoir after dinner.

Went for a birthday/ Christmas brunch with friends and family. Although it was far for me and a bit crowded as expected during the holidays, it was lovely! Very festive, buffet was kept replenished, fresh and clean. Waitstaff was professional and attentive to our big party of 10 and a great time was had by all. Will certainly be back again!

We dined at McLoone’s Boathouse on a Saturday after visiting the zoo, and I must say, the ambiance is stunning. We opted for an outdoor table with beautiful lake views, which truly enhanced our experience.
While the restaurant wasn’t overly busy, I did notice that two sections were closed for private events, which unfortunately slowed down the service. Our server was friendly, but she didn’t take notes on part of our order, resulting in a few mix-ups with our dishes.
The burger was decent but didn’t leave a lasting impression. However, the fries were a hit, as were the chicken fingers, which the kids loved. My standout dish was the steak with burrata salad—both beautiful and delicious. We also tried the bucket drink, and it was amazing!
Overall, while there were a few hiccups, the lovely view and some standout dishes made our visit enjoyable.
