This is an awesome place. I love the building. The staff is super cool and helpful. Not overly attentive, but you’ll know if you want something, they are on top of it.
Absolutely fantastic foods. If you want something a little different, they have a variety of burgers and many other things.
The mushrooms are strips, not mushy balls. They were by far the best I’ve had. The fries are crispy and done perfectly. Not hard, not dry, but perfect. The burger I had was on a magazine cover. It was big and again cooked to perfection. Juicy, but not squirting or dripping all over. No pink. Not burnt or charred. But again, perfect. They do an amazing job in the kitchen as well.
The staff are super cool. Very relaxed and eager to help. Small town hospitality with world class food. This is a must stop in type of place. I could see myself spending a lot of time here if I was clloser.

Took my bunch here (7 people total) and had dinner for the first time. Gotta say that we hate that it took this long to give this place a taste. Food was perfect in all aspects!
PS: Thanks for not charging a 20% “tip” for parties of 6 or more people unlike another place in McKenzie. Yall have won our business moving forward.

I heard about this place on the local radio and finally had the opportunity to give it a try. This resteraunt sits on a non-busy corner downtown, next to the public library. The inside is quaint, with 6-8 booths, a couple of tables and a bar with plenty of seating. The inside feels rustic, almost like a posh barn bar, with a wrap around track above patrons’ heads where the train makes it’s rounds. The server gave us what I think was the perfect balance of attention and peace to enjoy our meal. The owner also came by to ask about our experience and even got us some of their amazing Strawberry Butter to try. All of the food, from the best Fried Green Tomatoes around to the Charred Brussel Sprouts with Balsamic Reduction that came with the Homemade Bacon Mac Cheese Burger I had, this place was an absolute delight for a resteraunt that is still so new. We even snagged a Chocolate Chip Cheesecake and Oreo Cheesecake (both made In House) to try out later!! And at the end, when the unexpectedly cheap bill came, I finally knew McKenzie had a culinary gem on the rise.

I have very mixed feelings about this place. On one hand it was a terrible experience because they just don’t have it together. We waited over an hour foor food and the place was completely empty.
On the other – when the food did come out, it was amazing, and they also had some local beers on tap so that helped pass the time. Also, they have this train that constantly goes around the restaurant and my kids loved it. Top it all off with friendly staff and you have a absolutely irritating experience. Not because the place was bad, but because you know they could be so much better. Especially, in a tiny town like mckenzie! There isn’t a local place around that can match McKenzie station’s potential atmosphere.
That’s my biggest issue with this place, is the potential. It has it, but fails to execute in more ways than one. It’s because of that that I give this place 3 stars, but I urge anyone reading this to go and check it out. It HAS potential to be like a local hangout. It’s great!! But also failing. I’ll def be coming back here one of the next times I’m in town. I’m really hoping to see McKenzie station succeed.

Absolutely loved this place! Food was great and service could not have been better. My sister and I had a surprise luncheon for our mom with 33 people. I think we probably ordered everything in the menu and the food was so good. Alfredo sauce from

We love McKenzie Station Bar and Grill located on the town square. The food is prepared fresh when ordered and set before you piping hot and delicious. Whether it’s an ultimate mac-n-cheese dinner or a crunchy chicken sandwich with even crunchier sidewinder fries, you just can’t go wrong with their menu selections. They also have a full service bar with top shelf liquors, wines and a good beer selection. The atmosphere is cozy, inviting and warm—great place to while away some winter evenings among friends. Wait staff has been consistently friendly, efficient and always nearby when you need them. We have become regulars now and highly recommend a visit—you won’t be disappointed.

More than just a great burger!! Had the grilled chicken breast and sides tonight for dinner and it was EXCELLENT! The chicken was flavorful and not even the least bit dry. The atmosphere is cute and cozy. Kodi is the best! She always takes good care of us when we come!

My wife Lisa and I have eaten there 3 times, each time it was good! We had reservations at 7 Saturday night, we were seated at 6:55. Our server was good, my steak was done perfect. Med rare, its hard not too over cook it. Our salad was fresh, the wings were awesome! Thanks…

I was excited to get to finally get the chance to try this establishment, since it was challenging to get a table at the opening. The reviews were great so I guess I had too high of expectations. My smothered chicken breast was very plian and lacked any flavor. My daughters mac and cheese was embarrassingly dry, so much as we had to send it back. Don’t know what they did to it but there was no improvement at all. My sons burger looked great but it also lacked flavor. The highlight was the appetizer sampler platter. The prices were fair but the food was lackluster. Rivals in town, has a much better quality food. That’s my opinion, of course. Maybe just a bad night.
