Best wings in town. Period. Second time here in a couple of weeks and have to say better than the last time which I didn’t think was possible. We’ve tried one or two other dishes all good. But if you are a wing person, this is your place. Sienna has been our server twice and she was on point. Is it a bit loud, yes. But it’s a neighborhood place were people come to mingle and they know each other. It’s a great vibe for that local feel.

We hadn’t been back to the restaurant since before COVID, and we were very impressed by the major upgrades. It was great to see that the main chef is still there, which is perfect. Jeremy, the manager, was excellent and even offered a complimentary dessert for our children. The food was delicious; the clam chowder, in particular, was absolutely outstanding. My family will definitely be returning.”

I’ve lived the the area for like 3yrs and never been here until recently. I don’t know why I didn’t come by sooner. First visit I had the chicken tenders and they were good. The breading stayed on and had a good crunch to it. The chicken wasn’t dried. The second visit I tried the clam chowder and the Cajun shrimp scampi pasta. That was a great dish. The shrimp was well seasoned and grilled. The sauce was good but might have had a bit too much lemon. The clam chowder was good especially since it was cold outside. There are so many other items off their menu that I would like to try. My waiter Steve on the second visit was super cool and attentive.

We came for a chill date night and were blown away. The portions were generous (so we ended up with leftovers) and everything was delicious. Service was great, the tvs were all labeled with which sporting event was being shown, and the drinks were strong. They also had great mocktails.

Old wooden rustic bar environment. Food was well made and delicious. They have a $10 lunch special as long as you buy a drink. The frustrating thing was the sodas all tasted flat or just lacked something. Sweet tea & Arnold Palmer was just ok. Nice local restaurant to try out it’s just hit or miss depending on the day you go.

This place gets 5 Stars from the host to the service gets 5 stars. You get you food quickly with no long wait at all. The food is on point and tastefully well. My wife and I come here several times a month as this place has been put on list as a must. They have specials for everyday of the week. We like .99ct wing Wednesdays. It is a must try you will thank me later. You must dine in only to get the special FYI. It is worth it.

Our server was super fast and friendly! Food was outstanding! We ordered a cheeseburger (Mondays they are 5.99) and wings (5) and bbq chicken breast combo, which came with two side…huge portions! HAPPY HOUR ALL DAY, EVERYDAY!
PET FRIENDLY!

Went to celebrate my moms birthday during a trivia night. The food was FANTASTIC! I mean that! We tried a variety of apps and everything was hot and fresh. However, I’m not sure if the guy who was doing trivia blew out his speaker or what, but it was really noisy in there. Not with music and trivia, but muffled/loud music and trivia. & we love a good trivia night, don’t get it twisted. This aside, loved this place and will return to try more great food

I have been a patron of McKenna’s for over five years, and it has always been a hidden gem. However, the recent renovations have severely impacted the customer service quality. I have visited multiple times since the renovations, and each time, I have had to wait over 15-20 minutes just for a drink or condiments. This level of service is absolutely unacceptable.
While I understand that business can be busy, it should not take so long for a waitress to check in on basic necessities like drinks or condiments. If you plan to come here, be prepared for a frustrating experience—expect to wait at least 20 minutes for your order to be taken and additional time for staff to check on you throughout your meal. Offering a “free drink” after 30 minutes of neglect does not compensate for the poor service. It’s time for management to address these issues and improve the overall dining experience.
In response to the owner.
I appreciate your willingness to engage with customer feedback. My review was intended to share my honest experience.
While I recognize the effort you put into your establishment, my visit did not meet my expectations largely due to the service provided. I hope you view this feedback as an opportunity for growth and improvement.
We will gladly find another hidden gem.

For years, a friend has told me about this hidden gem in Palm Springs (a town just a few minutes North of Lake Worth) called McKenna’s Place [4068 Forest Hill Blvd, Palm Springs, FL]. The scoop was that it’s a typical Irish Pub with not so typical food. After visiting with a few friends, we can all confirm — it’s SUPER special. Family owned for many years, the team was lovely and the food truly exceeded our expectations.
Have you ever seen Shepard’s Pie Potato Skins? I hadn’t — brilliant IMO. The “Shaz Way” wings [tossed in medium wing sauce, lemon pepper, garlic and parmesan] are something to behold. The Shrimp Alfredo was so fresh and clearly made to order — we proclaimed it was as good as any top notch Italian restaurant.
If you live near this place and can stop by or order in — do it. Not only are you supporting a local, family run business — but their food is absolutely delicious. Can’t wait to return.
