Just wanted to respond to McGegor’s Public House: McKenzie is a keeper- I would have never ever know she was newer, let alone only three days in. She truly has fantastic menu knowledge, and she handled tricky ingredient questions with grace and ease.
I can’t believe we didn’t know it was here. That’s what we get for being on the road around South Florida on the weekends. We missed what was in our own backyard!
What a miss this was, we could have been enjoying this delicious food and relaxing with a beer or two so much sooner, darn it!
It is a welcoming space with lots of seating, beer choices galore, or if you prefer something harder, they have that too and plenty of sports playing at the bar. They have it all here, dozens on tap, and plenty in the can or in the bottle, or if you’re just looking for something cold, they’ve got it all here!
Looking for a casual spot to meet friends after work, a place to sit for a bit, grab a bite to eat and relax, this is an excellent place to do it.

The second time visit wasn’t so great. I came during the end of December and the service was just bad. When we walked in we weren’t greeted sort of ignored. And when we sat down it took them a good 10 minutes for a waitress to come give us a menu. The young lady who served us was a red headed gal. Didn’t offer us water just gave us menu and walked off, seemed like she was annoyed to be at her job. Once she came back around she asked what we wanted I ordered a Guinness and Coke with two waters (never brought us the two waters). It took a good 8-10 min to get our drinks while we waited another waitress came along I believe to be the manager and asked us if we’ve been helped since we were sitting in the table now for 15+ minutes with nothing on the table then we proceeded saying we ordered drinks. Because of this we just ordered one drink and didn’t bother ordering food since service was just bad we didn’t wanna wait anymore than that. It was a shame since my first impression of this place was great but not so much now. I’m willing to give it another shot just hopefully next visit it’s more friendly as the lady was when we first visited this place. Just for her ill give this a 4 .
Edit* Wasn’t going to go into it but because of your response…
I hope you do Google me and realize you made a big mistake….huge. (Pun intended) Please review the footage and I’ll happily be witness as you had even apologized to me for your behavior, but refused to do the same for our group. We were a group of coworkers (most of them having some experience in the service industry) who came together after dinners separately to have one drink and celebrate one persons birthday. This was amongst the company of some of our parents and bosses. Owner suddenly came out yelling at us claiming that we ruined a sign which he had absolutely no proof of that it came from ianyone from our side of the bar… he only had his “assumptions” based off of…. I’ll leave it at that. He did not show that level of disrespect to anyone else in the bar. The assault the owner will claim is another woman taking off a guys hat after he had hands in her face shooing her out. This was a clear example of bigotry.
