The food quality has taken a major dive in the last year or two. I don’t expect gourmet food when I come here. I only expect half-decent food that is consistent. Now it is always a risk you are going to get bad food. The fries are the only consistent item, but that is because they are constantly undercooked. They have zero crisp and are just mush. I just got an order with nuggets, but they looked, smelled, and tasted like they were yesterday’s day old nuggets. I forced half of them down and my I have a stomach ache. Even crappy deli chicken would be a step above this.
The snack wraps used to be a good quick bite with a chicken strip, now they are a cheap chicken nugget with old soggy lettuce. It feels so slimy. I had to throw it away after a couple of bites.
It’s just too risky to get something here when you are hungry and in a hurry. Its not cheap like it used to be and you may end up having to throw it away.

Food is good. Soda is not! Whatever you do just play it safe and dont get a soda. 3 out of 5 times, no syrup in the soda. Stop at a&p and grab a soda, ditch the meal combo. (although good fries are usually around 3 out of 5 warm and salted, its worth the risk.)

Check your food before you leave.( Mess ups happen often)
Other than that pretty OK place to go to get your food when you don’t want to cook.

They often get our orders wrong and the last few times our fries are limp and undercooked. Don’t recommend Ketchikan’s McDonald’s at this time.

I just waited 5 minutes to get to drive thru ordering kiosk at 8pm. Ok, no problem. However I then waited at the drive thru kiosk 13 minutes, and no one took my order. I asked several times if someone is there. Finally I pull up to window where two workers looked like they were on there phones. I sat for 3 minutes and no one acknowledged me. After 21 minutes I left with nothing. Was absolutely ridiculous, never mind the fact that I can get a burger and fries at a restaurant in town for the same price as McDonalds, literally cheaper at the landing. They jacked up there prices, same crappy food, and the service has declined drastically. Never again in Ketchikan.

Food is McDonald’s, restaurant cleanliness is not great, food on floor, every open table had mustard or ketchup stains, also had water pooling on the floor in the corner from a leaking window.

I don’t know what kind of covert operations McDonald’s is running here, but apparently answering the phone is not one of them. I called—multiple times, at reasonable hours—just to ask a simple, burning question: Do y’all have the spicy McChicken or not? That’s it. I wasn’t asking for the secret sauce recipe or to speak to Ronald himself. Just a yes or no. But alas, the phone rang and rang like it was trying to escape its own existential crisis.
This location clearly operates in a vacuum where customer service is optional and phones are just decorative. Are they using them as paperweights? Are they plugged in? Are they haunted? I’ll never know, because not a single soul picked up. Maybe they’re too busy microwaving old nuggets or spilling Sprite in the back to notice a ringing phone, but come on—basic communication shouldn’t be this hard.
It’s 2025. We’ve got AI writing poems and robots flipping burgers, and yet I can’t get a straight answer about a sandwich with a little kick. Disrespectful.
1 star, and that’s only because I can’t give zero.
