Girl working the drive through was talking at an inaudible volume. I’m pretty sure she was nodding off when I pulled up to the window. She seemed to think it was hilarious I had to ask her 4 times to please repeat herself. Pull up to the food window, they have to ask me what i ordered and tell me they’re still cooing my burger and to pull forward to spot number 1 (don’t get me started on how annoying this is- your inability to get food out on time should be a YOU problem). Pull forward… there’s already cars in both overflow spots. I pull off to the side all awkwardly. Eventually someone comes out and has no idea who has what order. We get it figured out and I pull out of the way and check my bag… only to find a half filled fry carton of fully cold unsalted fries, and a lukewarm burger that is halfway out of the carton. It’s like the staff aren’t even trying to care.

I worked fast food when in was younger. It’s not that hard. Get better workers, better shift leads, or whatever you need to do.

16 minutes for a hamburger happy meal. Cold meat, mediocre fries.
People ordered bags of food after me and left before me.
This place is horrible. No smiles, long wait times for something so easy. And worse, the people just don’t seem like helping. That is really what makes it the worst. I say this as a previous fast food worker…

Stopped by with 30 minutes before I had to be somewhere. I always order salt free fries, it takes them about 5 minutes longer on average (I do this always and have at the other locations in Salem) regardless I always make sure I have time especially if they are busy. They had me pull forward which is normal, but then forgot I was there, it was just me and another car in line, the other car got their food right away and then there were no cars for about 5-6 minutes. Then there were maybe 13 cars that ordered and got their food during the 20 minutes I waited, I had to call the restaurant twice and the first time they said my order would be ready in 6 minutes exactly, this was after waiting for 20 minutes. I understand they may be were understaffed and I do not post negative reviews, I am sure they had their reasons- this is a keep in mind that if you have modifications to your order it may be longer than you expect. I waited 32 minutes for a 4 piece nugget, a chicken sandwich and 2 medium fries.

My husband and I get strawberry milkshakes with extra whipped cream almost every day. When we order those it’s fine, only if this certain guy is working. Pretty sure he’s the night manager? Anyways he always gives us the extra we paid for. If anyone else makes it I swear they give us LESS than if we ordered one with regular whipped cream! Then sometimes we order burgers and I get the double cheeseburger and in the last month or of the maybe 5 times we’ve gotten burgers 3 of them had my mayo half inside of the burger and the other half all smeared on the outside of the bun. I get it, I ordered regular mayo (with the double cheeseburger you have to specify if you want mayo at all) but what the heck! We order to go and it pisses me off that when I grab it out the bag STILL IN THE WRAPPING I get mayo on my hand. It’s not a little bit either, not like they just rushed wrapping and some slipped out. No. It looks like they just have the burger set on the wrapper and they took a big ol ladle into a big ol mayo jar and threw it onto it like one of those sticks that holds a tennis ball for easy over hand throw to play with your dog. I swear that’s how they threw it on there! Half of it on the burger and the other half on the wrapper and they fold it up just like that and boom all over the outside and all up in the bag oozing out.
We’ve stopped getting burgers there after it’s happened so many times. We go to burger king up the street now. Now we only go to McDonald’s for milkshakes.
The 2⭐ rating I’m giving is for the burgers and if you ask me that’s being generous only reason it’s not a one is because normally at other McDonald’s when I ask for extra pickles they give me just 1 extra (so then I’d have 3-4 since normally that only put 2 or 3 depending on how big) but this place hooks it up on the pickles. If it were for the shakes it would be 4.3⭐

Went there at 11:55 on Sunday, December 22, 2025. I literally only wanted a Sprite. The employees completely ignored me at the drive-up box; there was no response for a minute. I even drove up to the window hoping I would get service. The employee with the black hair that was in a long braided ponytail mouthed to his coworker, “Someone is here,” then walked away out of view. At that point, I realized they were refusing to help me, so I drove off even though they were technically open.

Ordered a cappuccino from the kiosk 10 minutes later the guy said his Express was down for cleaning. So I ordered a coffee at the drive-thru with a holiday pie. The coffee was cold and the pie was undercooked. Currently waiting another 10 minutes for them to make a hot pot of coffee. Should have paid the extra money for Starbucks.

I ordered 2 frappe and when I got them they were only half full. They filled it up with whipped creme. So instead of making a stink I figured I’d cone the n next day with my receipt and photo of lame frappe to maybe get ot fixed. ..the manager didn’t even listen to what I was saying amd I guess they changed their policy to that they just don’t GAS!

Staff has always been friendly and helpful with me.
Place is pretty clean, could use a quick sweep under the tables but the tables themselves weren’t dirty or sticky. Bathrooms are very clean.

I always go to this location and I always have an issue of the staff forgetting to give me my food and always have to drive back to get what I paid for and mind you I live 15 minutes away so I hate having to drive back just because they forget something which makes me mad and some staff are inconsiderate and don’t double check the orders. Another issue is they act like they don’t know what they’re doing.
