For a long time, if you wanted something late at night without driving all the way into Portland, this was the only reliable 24-hour option. Before more businesses came in, this place was a lifeline for our area.
If you live in Oregon, you’ll get this comparison — it was like someone opening an In-N-Out a few miles from your house. That’s how big it felt.
What’s always stood out to me is the consistency. It has that small-town familiarity while still being part of a large franchise. Whoever owns and operates this location understands the community. It feels dependable, not corporate in a cold way.
It’s more than fast food — it’s where people met up after games, late shifts, long drives along 30, or just nights when you didn’t want to cook.
For those of us who grew up nearby, this place mattered. And honestly, it still does.

I visit this McDonald’s location multiple times a week because my autistic daughter will only eat plain hamburgers, and consistency is essential for her. Unfortunately, approximately one out of every three visits, her burger is prepared incorrectly despite my ordering through the app and selecting plain each time.
As a parent of a special needs child with an eating disorder, these repeated mistakes create significant stress and disruption. It should not be difficult to read an order and prepare it as requested, especially when it is clearly labeled. On one occasion, I was even reprimanded by a staff member while the wrapper itself displayed “PLAIN” in capital letters.
I am asking respectfully but firmly for greater attention to detail. Accuracy is a basic expectation, and for families like mine, it makes a tremendous difference. Please do better.

Their customer service needs to be studied because they’re impressively rude. A customer asked them for sauce and they told them no. They didn’t give me a spoon for my McFlurry and ignored me twice. I give it to the person that WAS ON BREAK to help me.

I’ll let the pic of my McCrispy do the talking…I could barely chew through it because it was so dry and ultimately I threw it away. It was gross. The rest of our order seemed ok, which is why I gave it 3 stars. Very disappointing and won’t be back.

I made a door dash order and had been waiting for 2 hours for my food so my husband went to go get it when he got there they said they didn’t have an order showed him the screen and walked away. He then was able to talk to the manager ( and showed him our DoorDash order) who then said we don’t have anything on the screen and walked away from him. Absolutely rude and unprofessional.

Asked for one cheeseburger and waited a really long time to have a smooshed burger smothered in ketchup and onions. The person at the first window was really nice but the second one ignored me and they were all just hanging out talking I could see them. Took them way too long to make one sandwich cause they were too busy talking.

Look, it’s McDonald’s, but THIS location is my favorite. It is one of the only ones that has a door to keep the kids from running out of the playground area. It still has a self serve soda machine. The staff brings your food to your table, and they’re always nice. My order rarely has mistakes and if it does they make it right. The only negative is the rowdy teens that take up tables in the kids play area and use foul language around the small kids. That situation is highly dependent on the day and time though. I avoid coming here when the HS is out to lunch and in the summer during the weekend afternoons.

Some days the food is not as good as it should be. Had the worst big Mac ever and I’ve paid for old fries too many times, oh, and then there is that pesky shake machine that’s broke down more than I like.
