One of the BEST omelets I’ve ever had! Ken’s special omelet with spinach and added American cheese, side of grilled vegetables and sausage patties – amazing!! They have great hot sauces too, excellent service and delicious coffee flavors – really great, we can’t wait to come back!

Every single time I come here, I get the stuffed French toast with cream cheese and strawberries, and it never disappoints. Over the years, I’ve come here with friends and family and everyone’s always eaten to their heart’s content. There’s usually a wait to be seated because the restaurant is small and cozy, but it’s worth it! Once you’re seated, the wait for the food is not long at all. The staff is warm and friendly, the tables are clean, and the atmosphere is comfortable – it feels like I’m at a friend’s house.
Tip: If you don’t want to wait, they take takeout orders (on weekdays only) – I definitely recommend it.
To Ken and the team- excellent work!

My first experience was nice and food was yummy. My second experience over the weekend wasn’t as good. Felt unfairly treated, we were standing in the cold wind for a while. Once we got inside after a few people literally just walked up, barely out there for long got free hot chocolate/ drinks. Then after we got sat our waitress was nice but felt unfairly treated as the people 3-4 parties behind us all got their food before us, some even finishing up. Half of our food was cold when we finally got it. It’s not really easy to choke down cold beef etc. We didn’t want to create issues so we just ate fast and left, we had to wait a bit for our waitress to give us the check to leave because she insisted we “take our time”. We had plans to go to, we didn’t even really get checked up on after we got our food. Sad to say we aren’t as likely to go back now.

Very busy spot. Waited outside for almost an hour. We had 4 people in our party and we were waiting for two of them, they were only ten minutes away, but we were told about 2 or 3 times that they wouldn’t sit until everyone in the party was there. I do understand that, but having to wait in the cold is not cool. However, food was decent, the hot coffee helped warm us up. But if there’s a line, not sure if it would be worth the wait.

Can’t beat the hospitality and the staff who will remember you. Generous, fresh portions and posted daily menu items. Set in an adorable NE style setting. We were lucky to arrive on a Monday morning after the rush. Weekends are jammed we hear. And don’t go when they take their annual 2week summer vacation around July 4th.

The food is good, but the staff is even better. It’s a busy and family friendly spot for breakfast. Because it’s so popular, it fills up quickly. Definitely plan ahead or be prepared for a wait!

The food was VERY BLAND. I ordered an omelet, absolutely no flavor. As we were leaving, I noticed the kitchen crew had no gloves on. Food safety compromised here.
Our server was VERY NICE. We tried, we tasted, we didn’t like, won’t be back.

There was a long line on a somewhat cold day, and a nice Ken’s worker brought out some hot cocoa for us all… set the tone early.
This was an elite New England diner-vibe breakfast experience.
One of us got a Pesto Egg Sandwich (house special), another got the Big Eater #2 with chocolate chip pancakes and bacon.
Fire meal, will be back. CBTM

I absolutely love this place. The food, the people, and the service is amazing. I absolutely love their specials, this holiday the gingerbread pancakes were delicious. Often there is a wait but I promise you it’s well worth it. Enjoy!!!

Went to Ken’s with my parents who were in town so they could see their 11 month old grand son. Loved the kid’s toys outside and assumed it was a family friendly place. Had to wait but totally expected with busy breakfast time and not a lot of options in the area.
Sat down and anyone who has kids… when you sit down, your little one is a ticking time bomb. When the waitress came by, I had extremely politely asked when she was doing coffee orders if I could put my son’s order in first. The attitude and tone I got actually surprised me. She told me they don’t do staggered orders and proceeded to tell me that it’s going to be a long wait and there’s 21 tickets in front of me. She offered that the only thing she could bring is fruit because of “how long it’s going to take…” It was the rudest thing to start the morning with and I was so surprised because of how unnecessary it was. I hit her back with the same tone and energy she was giving saying we were ready to order then. She very obviously sighed and rolled her eyes then took our order.
Within 5 minutes our order was out and she even had the audacity to say she was surprised it was fast this time. I get it — you’re running around everywhere, it’s fast paced, and dealing with a lot. But don’t take it out on the customer, particularly one you can see has a little one who’s going through pouches like he’s never eaten.
I wish I got her name but she had black rimmed glasses, shoulder length hair, black top eyeliner and wore a black thick headband. If my dad didn’t pay, I would have debated leaving less than a 20% tip. Just wasn’t warranted. Sad that a great place like that with the vibes they have going on have staff like that.
Food was delicious and the rest of the staff was super nice and moving. Place was what I would expect for a cute, small and bustling spot. Had a giant line outside waiting when we left — so it very obviously is good. Just ask for any other waitress but her.
