I walked in, waiting for the T-mobile store to open. I was greeted. My order taken & my food was delivered to my table within minutes. I was still at the counter. It was hot & delicious. The customer service was awesome! I will return soon, just to say hello to the employees and have a bacon, egg n cheese biscuit with hashbrowns. You made my day McDonalds, Grass Valley! Thank you.

I’m not a fan of these new kiosk self-service McDonald’s. This new building in Grass Valley feels impersonal and drab. It’s dark and dreary looking, and you walk in to two kiosks and a tiny register area with no one working it. I don’t use those kiosks. I want to order from a person. This new setup makes you feel like you’re making the worker go out of their way to service you. And although the person who eventually came to the register to take my order was very friendly, it’s just not the same experience. Granted, it’s just fast food, but I stay away from McDonald’s, for the most part, because of this new setup. I wanted A&W across the street but their grill was down so we ended up at McDonald’s. The prices are outrageous, too. $28 for two #2 Quarter Pounder meals!?! What?! And the burgers are fairly small. For that price, I’ll go to our locally owned burger joint with slightly higher priced, but good sized and great quality beef burgers.

Well, it’s McDonald’s. No frills. No thrills. When I unwrapped my McChicken, the top bun was only halfway on. Half of the sandwich was dry. The other half was dripping mayonnaise. There was only three small shreds of lettuce on my sandwich. They didn’t give me any napkins.

The food is McDonalds but the design of this newly remodeled location is cold, stark and uninviting. The entry doors are in strange locations. There is no self-serve drink station. There are two registers but usually only one person at the same time. It went from a small town feel to a feeling like you are in a large city transit location.. Too bad. I recommend drive thru only.

Man oh man, how the times have changed. Been a long time since I had a burger from McDonald’s… Be a longer time before I have another. Used to be the best (fast food) fries in town but they were garbage! Burger (double quarter pounder) wasn’t “bad” but the service was TERRIBLE! Guy had trouble just getting the computer to work and seemed irritated we didnt use the self serve kiosk… To top it off, they forgot our fries and had no napkins! Lastly my six year old was DYING to go on the playground so we went inside to eat. She found a cigarette lighter at the top of the slide :/ Missing the good ole days…

25 minute wait in long line of vehicles for a cold thin overrated small patty three buns and some lettuce. Overpriced, long wait for lousy food and the lady at the window couldn’t even muster up a fake smile. Very sad, this is the last place on my list now, it is not even fast food.

First person took order I asked one question and he couldn’t clarify the order. On third try he put me on hold to asksomeone else to finish order. 10:02 pm on a Saturday night and let a entry level take my order all over again. Very dissatisfied with repeating myself a 4th time. This agency likes to upsell the order. I asked for a value meal 2B. The first guy couldn’t tell me what size regular fry or drink I would get. No need to let you customer sitting in their car to be a human pinball machine. Not satisfied! Manager should be notified.
