Drive thru young lady is rude. She didn’t even give me any napkins or condiments. Definitely not a go to spot. She had make up all over my cup from touching her face. They need to work on their customer service.

Ordered through the app because it showed it would be open till midnight. Got there at 1050. Nobody answered the speaker. Pull up the window. A worker is right next to the window. Mopping and purposely not looking at me. I knock in the window wave. Nothing I do so l see an old sign that shows they close at 11. I still have a few minutes but they refuse to acknowledge me. They don’t cancel my order. Why wouldn’t they have corporate change their hours in the app? Why wouldn’t they at least apologize to me instead of pretending I am not there and pretending they never got my order?
Followup: the response I get is. Nothing. I got an email saying it’s independently owned. No apology. No attempt at making things right. Told it will be forwarded and nothing. They literally do no care that they did wrong.

Long waiting lines. No ketchups offered or given in our orders. Who wouldn’t want Ketchup for a McDonald’s mea. Waiting 40 minutes and not being able to enjoy your meal for the lack of Ketchups, and on top of the no straws. Guess no one would refrain for going to this McDonald, but just want to mention how incompetent is. Maybe they’re short staffed, who knows. Not blaming the few employees. Blaming the greedy of the owners in no hiring more employees

Anytime we want to get out of the house and drive a couple blocks the kids loving coming to this playhouse and grabbing an ice cream cone and some fries, obviously the pandemic has put a dent in our fun, but nonetheless we can still go through the drive-thru grab some fries grab a little ice cream cone and let the kids run around the rocks and the parking lots or even go across the street to the cliff hills and take a little hike,
the other reason for the five stars is the location it’s very hard to beat this location as it is quickly off and back on the freeway no matter where you’re coming from,
For some reason the ownership and the store as a whole doesn’t seem to be running quite on par as it should, but they at least do the minimum in offering the right food with not too long of a wait,
The other reason this is five stars as a sub reason of the location is that there is a Starbucks opening up two doors down from it right over the denny’s,
Now you could run through the Starbucks get your coffee started run through McDonald’s get your breakfast started and you’ll be on your way lol!
I guess too bad Denny’s didn’t have a drive-thru huh?
Anyway East county just has the best locations for anything because there’s plenty of space pathways parking and landscape for the kids to run around before or after their treat
Please follow my other reviews as I review a lot of Mexican food and other restaurants between El cajon and Los angeles, and always look for my wife Jesse hopping around the picture somewhere as of September 2020 I have been adding at least one picture with her in it you just have to find it!
Location reason number three is there is a smart and final a UPS store a Subway a Walmart a Denny’s a Shell station and a Starbucks right nearby,

The first thing I noticed was a small dining room. Lots of people waiting in line service.
When I finally got to the front of the line, the young lady at the register was in a bad mood. She didn’t greet me, she didn’t have a smile on her face, all she asked was “what would you like.” She never asked me if I wanted to make my sandwich a combo or even what size I would like. I have to tell her that I wanted a combo and I had to tell her that I wanted a medium size. All she did was nod her head and say “K”. Gave me a receipt and didn’t say another word.
And then I noticed that none of the employees were wearing name tags. (See pictures)
The bathroom was a mess and didn’t smell pleasant. Marker on the stall walls.

Average food, loby customers are put last at this location, they only prefer to service the drivthrough not the loby, try to force everyone to order on the non personal non customer friendly kiosk. And if they screw up your order they make you wait 10 mins before you have to flag somone down that wants to ignore you beacuse you are an inconvenience for wanting them to fix the mistake they made. Horrible customer service unless you drive through so they don’t actually have to put on a smile and service the customer like old days
