The food here is decent in comparison to other McDonalds Locations. However, I am writing this review because I do think the atmosphere could be a bit better. They have signs that say text to apply, which tells me they may be understaffed or at least are looking for more help. Then I see a good employee talk on the phone who sounded like he was calling someone who seemed to be another coworker from another job, I think he mentioned Walmart, and he asked that co worker to ask their boss if he could either come in later or take the night off because McDonald’s just asked him to work until 7, which sounds to be not his normal shift. However, instead of being respected by other employees for trying to make his schedule to work when needed, a woman who must have been his manager walks by and snaps angrily “no phones!”. I honestly thought she was talking to me for a second and I got confused and a little spooked. However, she was talking to this good employee. The good employee tried to explain that he got permission from someone else to talk on the phone to get the extra work scheduled with his other job, but he couldn’t even explain himself after he said that one of his coworkers or maybe another manager gave him permission, she said something that I don’t remember exactly, but it seemed pretty clear that she did not believe him at all. It was sad to see because the good employee was trying to do something good, and the woman who I think was the manager was SUPER snappy at him for trying to help the McDonalds team without even being apparently willing to trust him enough to hear him out fully. She did sigh heavily when I saw her next so maybe she was having a stressful day, but I was too chicken to tell her directly about what I saw from the good employee, mostly because I was afraid she would bite my head off too. I don’t think anyone should get in trouble here but I just think this is a good lesson for the management here to not jump to conclusions and to trust your team of coworkers. I hope they see this. I don’t want to diss on this location of McDonalds but I did feel like something needed to be said, and like I said I wasn’t willing to tell it to her face, so I hope she sees it here.

They mess up my order all the time and when I went to pick up my pies they were very sarcastic and pretending to be nice and kept repeating themselves that they won’t replace the whole order very uncomfortable experience and I wouldn’t have drove across town for 2 pies I hope corporate gets into this matter and gets in contact with me. I didn’t even enjoy my meal without sauce either and when I brought that up to the manager she has the nerve to say so u want the pies and ur sauce is she serious what would I want buffalo ranch sauce for pies. I have had 1 too many bad experiences at this location and do not recommend this McDonald’s drive to lakeside.

I placed a mobile order through Mc Donald app for a meal deal 20pc with 2 large Frys. When we went to eat a fry was missing from the bag bummer but not a big deal called the store to get a refund for the Large fry. After explaining to the worker what happened she asked if we were close by to grab it told her no we are already to far away just asked her to refund me for the fry. This is where the issue began her response was we do not refund for mobile deals we will right your name down on a list and next time you come I we will give you a large fry Free. I explained I dont want to be on a list just want a refund for the fry i didnt recieve. Again she refused to refund me. At that point I told her that is not right you didnt give me the item I paid for and I want my money for that item refunded. She explained again that they do not do refunds for mobile bundles. My response was how can your solution be for me to either come back to your restaurant to receive the item you missed that I paid for or require me to eat at your restaurant again on another day to receive the item I paid for. Basically that is not logical why should I the customer have to jump though any hoops to receive an item I paid for. You as the restaurant should make it right since you made the mistake. If you cant refund for mobile items you should make people aware although I dont believe that you cannot refund me. I explained thoes options were not acceptable asked to speak to the store manager, she then informed me she was the manager for the store. I let her know I would be contacting corporate about the situation as I was not satisfied with her response. She than gave me the number to her corporate office and told me the complaint would only come back to her, at that point I informed her I would still be contacting them and it will at least create a record and we finished talking. After contacting the 800 corporate # I looked up myself they honestly didnt seem to care much but did take my compliment. The manager of the store returned my call for the compliment about an hour later and did try to apologize and she offered me a refund. I explained to her I hold no ill will mistakes happen but I should not have to go out of my way to make it right. You should have taken the time to listen to the customer and in my opinion you handled it wrong hince my complaint, but I appreciate the apology and hope next time your focus will be customer first. I hope she treats the next person with more humility and kindness. Ps the frys were hot and nuggets were good no complaints on the food.

It was good. It was hot and fresh and I messed up my burger though. I wanted to add extra onions and mustard and I got no onions and no mustard so you got to be a little bit better attention sometimes

Unless you want to deal with extremely rude employees that obviously have nothing better going on other than trying to make their customers days harder.. it’s kinda insane the type of people the hire at this location.. I’ve never been to a McDonald’s with such odd types of rules to ordering your food.. they also skimp a crazy amount on the food you should get.. enjoy half filled fry cups and getting your order wrong every damn day time no matter how long you wait.

I went through your drive through this morning. I ordered 6 sausage (no cheese) McMuffins and two breakfast tater tots.. I received 6 sausage and EGG McMuffins, no potatoes. I will never be back.

This place is very disappointing. As they’ve raised prices, I’ve seldom gone there. Today, I was waiting for tires and decided to grab lunch here. They were not busy whatsoever. There was no line inside and maybe 2 or 3 people eating. I stood at the counter waiting to be helped for 3 or 4 minutes. A few people looked at me, but no one greeted me or acknowledged me. An older native woman walked up and stood next to me. She was immediately helped. She said there was no sweet tea. The employee ( also native) instantly grabbed her cup and then returned with her cup and 2 more filled with sweet tea he got from the drive thru. He didn’t even look at me. After another couple of minutes, he returned and took my order. Very unfriendly and unwelcoming. Didn’t ask if it was dine in or to go. Couple minute’s later, I received my to go bag. I was eating there. Didn’t offer any sauce or ketchup. My fries were old and barely warm. My sandwich was smashed a bit. overall, it was a horrible experience. I ate a few bites and ended up throwing away the majority of the overpriced food. I will not be back again. I hope someone who cares reads this review and makes some much needed changes. I understand higher prices and inflation. I get minimum wage is higher. What I dont understand is how the service is so bad. I absolutely hate to say this, but I feel like it was because I’m white. I love everyone, no matter what color, ethnicity, or religion. No one should get treated like that for any reason. Very disappointing!

We ordered through the drive thru and paid $42.
And half the order was wrong. We are pleased with half but very disappointed with the other the line was long and the cashier’s were frustrated so we left . Didn’t want the other customers to feel the same.

I ordered a 6 piece nugget happy meal, a 4 piece nugget happy meal, and a double quarter pounder. I received no drink for either happy meal, the 6 piece nugget was a carton full of pickles, and the burger was just a double cheeseburger. What a waste of time and money. Huge disappointment.

Works gave me a small sized coffee when I asked for a medium …and continued to tell me it’s a medium when they gave me a small and the cup says small…plus the worker was so rude when telling me about it and they forgot my hash brown and the eggs look very very unwell
