They are offering terrible service!
On Saturday, we ordered a simple Happy Meal through the mobile app. My husband went to pick it up, and it took them 40 minutes to prepare it. No one had the courtesy to ask him if he needed anything; they all ignored him. Why do they do that? If they see that he’s been waiting for a long time, they should ask him if he needs anything. He tried to talk to them, but no one paid attention to him. Terrible service.
Today we went back because my son loves McDonald’s, and unfortunately, we found a hair in his McNuggets.

Only myself and woman with 2 small children there at 1:00 on a Friday afternoon and took 10 minutes to get the greasiest 1/4 pounder I’ve ever seen. Dripping grease. All the young female employees working in kitchen were laughing and joking in Spanish. Avoid this McDonalds. Also has no self serve beverage bar, why?
Slow service, poor quality food, employees too busy playing to serve customers.

I just have to brag on the sweetest lady working at the McDonald’s in Lumberton. Her name is Lilly & like the flower is beautiful inside and out. She has the most joyful, jolly spirit, and she absolutely made my whole day. From the moment you walk in, she’s smiling, cheerful, hustling like nobody’s business, and wishing everyone a Merry Christmas with so much genuine warmth you can’t help but smile back.
You can tell she truly loves her job and takes pride in doing it well. She moves fast, stays kind, and treats every single customer like they matter. People like her are rare these days — she turns a simple stop for food into a bright spot in your day.
McDonald’s is lucky to have her, and our community is even luckier. If you stop in and she’s working, consider yourself blessed.

Food is not always fresh and never not once is order correct always check after they hand you , you will be missing something. Staff working are very friendly but not well organized. I would still recommend but always check what you ordered.

My son loves chicken nuggets so I ordered online to pick up for his lunch at school. I get to the drive thru speaker only to be told they didn’t have my order. I parked, went inside only to find chaos everywhere I looked. Waited at the register and finally left and went to Dairy Queen because I was now running late. After lunch I checked my bank account and found where I was charged for McDonald’s. I went back and spoke to the Manager. I was told if they didn’t recieve it then the funds would be reversed. Now I have to watch my bank account and pray I don’t have to go back. This is the second time this has happened and recently. Last time I got them to give me my order. Today I did not have time.

The morning crew is fantastic! They’re so kind and pleasant and the food is always great! The afternoon/evening staff are at best okay and at worst completely horrendous but that’s true of any fast food place so whatever 5 stars!

If it takes you 20 minutes to count to 6 for an order with just a happy meal then you should not be employed here. Literally the most basic of tasks.

Pulled in to door dash went to speaker and let them know, took 20 minutes for the order. Came back for several but the second time I just pulled straight to windows and was rudely told to stop at speaker next time even though that order came out instantly.
