If I could give zero stars, I would. This McDonald’s on Prospect Blvd in Houma is an absolute disaster from top to bottom. Walking in feels like stepping into a grease trap that somehow learned how to serve cold food. The floors are slick with oil, the tables are sticky, and the air feels heavy—like they haven’t cleaned or aired the place out in months. Even the chairs have grime rings that could tell stories.
Don’t expect fast food here—expect slow confusion. The employees either move at a snail’s pace or stand around chatting while your food sits in limbo. Orders are constantly wrong, missing items, or just plain cold by the time you get them. And the drive-thru? It’s a test of patience and luck. You’ll wait forever, only to find your burger half-cooked or your drink completely wrong. One reviewer said they’ve ordered unsweet tea multiple times and keep getting sweet tea—apparently the tea containers aren’t even labeled.
Cleanliness is a joke. The bathrooms are filthy, the floors sticky, and there’s often no paper or soap. Flies buzz around inside the dining area, turning your fries into their playground. One customer even mentioned an employee using a leaf blower inside the restaurant while people were trying to eat. You can’t make this stuff up.

McDonald’s in the morning there is amazing their fast their great at night their disrespectful, slow never have anything in stock and refuse to make anything if they don’t have it on the line for example iced caramel macchiato they will not make one of those once it has switched over to night shift

Just spent 5 minutes standing at the counter waiting to place our order, watched 2 employees walk by us and head outside to their cars, the other employees in the back seen us and would divert their eyes as soon as we tried to make eye contact…..absolutely trash location

Ordered a double quarter pounder with cheese , fore’s and a drink and a regular quarter pounder no cheese , pickles or onions , fries and a strawberry shake. Got my food fries were cold , buns on both burgers were stale and the meat Pattie’s were dry as a piece of cardboard. Tried to call to inform manager and number doesn’t work. 21.00 thrown in the trash.

Got Me AGAIN . Ordered a double quarter pounder with cheese . McDonald’s only gave me one patty . McDonald’s is horrible about doing this. You think with all the extra money the make off ripping us off that they could fix at least one dang shake machine.

I ordered a basket of fries and 2 dr peppers. They only rang uo one dr pepper. The dr pepper was only filled up 2/3 of the cup. The fries were way over cooked. The employee who was handing out the food had zero interpersonal skills and paid no attention to detail. Do better!
