Sadly, I’ve continued to give this location chance after chance, apparently because I enjoy optimism bordering on delusion. Tonight may have cured me. With exactly one other family in the lobby, we still waited the usual 20+ minutes for our food. Around minute 15, I approached the counter to ask for our drink cups and was cheerfully informed that once we received our food, we’d need to immediately leave because the lobby was closing.
Since the employee was clearly just the messenger (and it was Christmas Eve), I didn’t push back. We were handed our order and rushed out like we’d overstayed our welcome at a party we never asked to attend. A quick glance showed one item missing, which we mentioned. What we didn’t realize until we got home was that more food was missing—because of course it was. By then, they were closed, so… festive shrug.
Now let’s talk about the food. The quality was hands-down the worst I’ve ever experienced—at this location or any McDonald’s, which is saying something. I ordered the Filet-O-Fish, which had been cooked to the texture of a medieval weapon. It was so overcooked I nearly choked, topped with a whisper of tartar sauce and what appeared to be half a slice of cheese that lost the will to live. My husband’s burger wasn’t spared either: dry, smushed, burnt bun—basically the sad, forgotten cousin of a hamburger.
I get it. It’s the holidays. Everyone wanted to go home. But rushing customers out, missing half the order, and serving food that looks and tastes like it was made out of spite isn’t the move.
Do better. Be better.

I don’t normally leave reviews but I think this McDonald’s Branson hills Branson 248 and 76 need to be addressed seriously. All of the mcdonalds owned by this owner. They have a serious problem with understaffing and too much attention to drive time that it causes a lot of confusion and they focus solely on drive thru which causes the front counter to get almost completely ignored and you wait forever inside of the restaurant. Everytime you come in all the tables are dirty. The lobby is dirty and the trash is always stuffed and overflowing. The employees are always stressed and have attitudes because you can tell they are doing multiples peoples jobs at once because the employer it’s not the employees fault. But something needs to be done about the understaffing and pay more attention to customer service and not how much money you can save and drive times. McDonalds is by no means hurting. Even with the horrible wait times the public still waits in line while they get talked to like dog poop while the employees feel overworked and underpaid. Creating a hostile environment for everyone. One begins to feel like saving that extra dollar means more than satisfying your customers cause this is the experience that I have every time I come into your establishments. Again not the employees faults. But the employer needs to put more into staffing enough that you can care for all of these things at least up to standard. Cause it’s clear your employees are struggling to keep up with the understaffing and it’s not fair to your store managers they have to deal with it. You should be praising your managers for dealing with the less than manageable work environment that you supply them with. Less emphasis on saving and more on satisfying your customers. I could see it up to a point but I mean you ask anyone. They will tell you the same. Going inside is a nightmare and waiting in the drive thru boy I hope you wasn’t expecting speedy drive thru times. And it’s all locations. So if it’s all of them I’d say it’s a top down problem. The fish stinks from the head down thats all im gonna say about it. Just getting a coffee is a nightmare

I never give a bad review, but I figured that it’s not gonna change unless Enough people do. McDonald’s is supposed to be the American place to take your kids after a game the place that makes kids happy and excited to go to… This McDonald’s has been repeatedly hands-down, the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever gone to in 50 years. They need to hire some people. There is no sense of urgency. The staff repeatedly ignored us. We ordered two ice cream cones little girls just got done playing a soccer game. Couldn’t wait to have their ice cream cones and we waited 40 minutes….. This is absolutely unacceptable and unbelievable. The lobby only had two or three people on tables. They need to pay just as much attention to people in the lobby as they do the people in the lines.. so sad so disappointed, we will not be returning to this McDonald’s. They could care less about their customers and we kept it classy. We weren’t rude or disrespectful. This is unbelievably BS.

Bad experience. Employees and Kiosk was selling drinks when they weren’t available due to a water line break. After paying for it was asked if we wanted a bottle of water. Paid over 3.00 for a large sweet tea and receive a $2 bottle of water. No compensation for the difference. ALSO women’s restroom was horrible. 2 stalls, one was full of toilet paper, etc and the other had a non stop flushing issue. Water was just constantly running and toilet paper was just sitting to the side. GROSS!

If you eat here, be kind to the youngsters that work here. I heard a manager today to tell a kid to take his head set off and clock out because he checked his phone. She wouldn’t even let him explain that it was his ride messaging since he is too young to drive. Treat those kids better smh. Lost my business.

We stopped here after the football game tonight. There was a woman t
Working there and complained that other workers were in the break room and she was doing everything. Next thing we know she leaves in a big hurry out the door. The guy preparing the food didn’t seem to be in any rush. We waited 30 minutes to get our food. Their trash looked like it was overflowing and the drink fountains were dirty. Apparently staffing must be an issue. I won’t recommend this McDonalds.

Employees do not acknowledge Doordash, Uber, or any other driver until there is multiple drivers waiting. Do not order from this McDonalds. When my wait time is so long to pick up an order I could see that it affected my pay, that’s a problem. Please train your employees better!
