Did a drive thru order here today, first experience here. Placed an order and what’s pictured here is my spicy mc chicken with no mayo, mayo clearly dabbled all over the chicken as it was scraped off after realizing it was supposed to be no mayo. About what I’d expect from McDonald’s anymore.

Every time I go here something gets messed up from missing food to raw meat that’s gooey. This is ridiculous. This time I was missing a mccrispy, 3 of the 4 burgers were raw and when I went up to have them replaced I got the burger and they tried giving me a mcchicken that’s a quarter the price I got charged instead of the mccrispy. I had to go in a 3rd time to get the correct sandwich.

Just did a Mobile order from this McDonald’s, never again will I ever order from here. Our order was all wrong, our drinks were way too carbonated, our fries were way over salted, and everything was just bad. I request anyone to never order from Lexington, MO McDonald’s ever again.

Fries were hot and fresh, food was perfect, team communicated well, ordered condiments were right, wait was minimal. Great service.

I asked for no mayo cause I asked for BBQ sauce packets they still have me mayo. Total was 2.17 I gave them 10.17 why did I get 7.25 for change? It’s like a special Ed class that serves food. How would I rate service….. Horrible!!! I gave it 1 star cause I had to put at least qive it 1 star

20 minute wait for 1 order hot cakes and 1 hashbrown without even an acknowledgement that 20 minutes is too long. Not ok…

I stopped to get my dog a birthday hamburger. The people are great! I just can’t give McDonald’s more than one star for food, because it is badly sourced frozen pucks of meat, not real ice cream, and has gone so far from its origins that it is unrecognizable. Aside from the cookie cutter meat and artificial preservatives, they don’t pass their discounted ingredients on in the form of wages, because investors. Maybe they should think less about consistency, and more about local farms, fresh ingredients and domestic beef. Switch to fresh/not frozen, and caring about their franchisees and employees. They already charge as much as a sit-down restaurant, so it’s just not working for me. Great for my dog though.

The employees are screaming and yelling at each other. Walked pasted me when I was standing at the counter waiting for someone. (They smiled and waved too). They where screaming and yelling and then they came out into the area the customers are at and continued to argue. They are complaining no one wants to wash dishes as well. People are coming in and they are letting them walk around near the food area and then leave after being back there. They arnt in uniform either…2 drinks took over 10m cause if their banter.

I just have to give some well-deserved credit to the McDonald’s in Lexington, Missouri. Honestly, it’s one of the cleanest and most well-kept locations I’ve ever been to—definitely cleaner than any I’ve seen in the Kansas City area. You can tell the owner really takes pride in this place. It’s always being cleaned, and everything looks like it’s in good repair. Unlike some city locations that smell like a sewer the minute you walk in—this one is fresh, bright, and welcoming.
The staff here is another huge plus. Every time I go through the drive-thru, they’re friendly, smiling, and actually greet you at the window. That might sound simple, but it’s rare these days. In the city, I’ve literally had my food handed to me with no eye contact, no thank you—just tossed out the window like they were done with me. The Lexington crew actually seems happy to be there, and that makes a difference.
I’ve seen people complain about having to wait a few minutes, but let’s be real—some McDonald’s drive-thrus I’ve been in have trapped me for 30 minutes or more. If it seems slow here sometimes, it’s clearly because they’re understaffed, not because the employees are doing a bad job. That’s a bigger issue for corporate to figure out, not something the local team should be blamed for.
Honestly, this place is a gem. People around here might take it for granted, but if they had to deal with some of the places I’ve been to in the city, they’d realize how good they’ve got it. This little small-town McDonald’s is doing it right, and it deserves way more appreciation.
