I was hungry and on break so I came to this McDonald’s I asked for syrup to go with my breakfast!! The lady at the window says .25 cents I said even if I have pancakes, she said it should be in the bag then, I wasn’t going to go back and forth so I was going to pay the .25 cents, however the manger came to the window with an attitude and to top things off she told me the syrup was going to be .75 cents (at this point I had seen the sign on the window that says condiments.25 cents, now I am basing things off principal’s and the fact you just made up a price)I said that’s not what she just said she repeated with aggression .75 cents I said that makes no sense I have pancakes and you are charging me for syrup, I needed to get back to work so I couldn’t go back and forth I no longer wanted to do business at this establishment so I said can I have my money back? She said move as if i wasn’t a customer stated she would call the police if I didn’t get out the drive thru and that she had other customers. I waited in that line and paid my money just like those other customers. Through it all I was able to the McDonald’s down the street and get the exact same thing with no issue!! Moral of the story treat people how you would want to be treated if you don’t like your job find another one!!! Treat customers with dignity and respect!! Show empathy and ownership!! Own up to your mistakes and find a solution!!!

Worst experience ever, they charge 41 cents more for happy meals than on Noland road. Also their fries are never done and are always soggy. I won’t be returning to this McDonald’s.

This is the worst McDonald’s in the independence area. I ordered a big breakfast without pork sausage. I was given pork. I called the manager I spoke with was very kind, told me I will put your name in the book to come get your order replaced. Fast forward 1 week later I go to McDonald’s to get the big breakfast. When I get there the regional manager told me that if I didn’t get out of his line he was calling the police on me for asking them to replace my order. Sat in the line and waited on him to call the police on me because I ask for them to replace what they messed up. The manager who is an extra intelligent individual came out of the store to took a picture of my tags and sent my tag number to some random individual he was speaking too. Everyone that works here is rude and unprofessional. If you are smart you won’t patronize this location everyone that works at this location has poor customer service skills along with nasty attitudes . The manager is a joke and just as childish as his employees. The manager stated to me he is God of McDonald’s “God of McDonalds”. I told him I was reporting him to corporate. He then informs me he is the corporate office of McDonald’s, and the Regional and District manager. How lame can one person be? THIS LOCATION, MANAGEMENT AND STAFF GET A BIG FAT -F. Failed all levels. Shut this dirty location down. This location doesn’t even deserve 1 star. Eat here at your own risk.

Sat at the 1st drive through line for a doordash order , lady came across told me to wait a min. Then I sat there and watched 10-15 cars go through the second line along with fellow dashers. I said hello numerous times before someone came across and got my order number. Got to the window finally and lady was not able to communicate (no English). I sat there for another 10 mins waiting on food. Finally got it (sealed bag for doordash) then deliver to customer and order was missing items. This happens at this location more often than not. This isn’t okay. Not only does it affect your customer base but it affect the income of delivery drivers. Please find away for delivery drivers to check items to avoid these mistakes. Maybe place an English speaking or at least bilingual employee at the drive through window.

I took my great niece to McDonalds today for a Happy Meal. I interacted with 4 employees. Everyone of them acted as if they could care less, in providing good customer service. A few were indifferent in helping me from ordering on the machine (problem in completing), the person who brought the tray just dropped on table, turned and walked away, ignored me calling her to advise no straws or napkins on tray, the young man at counter when I went to get those items, never apologized (he didn’t say a word to me, even when I thanked him)- just turned and walked away. The dining room was filthy- tables dirty and it wasn’t really busy. The drink station was terrible, spilled drinks over the counter.(even my 8 year old great niece noticed and commented to me). Since the dining room was in terrible shape, it makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like. It wasn’t due to lack of employees, they had ample. I taught Customer Service for a major Telecommunications company and this McDonald’s is truly lacking. I will drive farther to another location in the future. I will never come here again!!

Went thru the drive thur and ordered a frozen coke, and didn’t have a receipt. When I got to pick up found out they didn’t have frozen coke, just 2 other kinds. I was told to drive up and wait. Waited about 5 minutes and no one came out to refund my money or talk to Mr. I went in and talked to the girl at the checkout, and she said the frozen coke machine was ready and I got my frozen coke. I am convinced if I hadn’t gone in and said something I would still be waiting for someone to either refund my money or give me my frozen coke.

To whom this may concern and I honestly hope this is taken seriously. My name is Phillip. 5/12/2023 6:30 maybe a little earlier I visited the McDonald’s location Independence and 23rd. To my knowledge I was racially profiled and ignored as if I wasn’t a paying customer. Numerous employees walked pass me with out any interaction. It took forever for my order to be taken. The first young lady whom was at the register looked at me but continued talking to her husband I’m sure. Over all very bad customer service with all. Tonight you failed and it really makes me feel bad.

This store isn’t open 24 hrs. More like 23 hrs. Found out they close down for 30min to a hour in the middle of the night and only accept cash after 3:30? This was after a 20 min drive to get there. “Order taker” or lack there-of acted like I should know better. It sounded like there was a party going on in the background while “order taker” was trying to talk to me.
