First impressions are everything, so
I should have know the type of service I was going to get based on the state of the facility. We waited over 25 minutes for cookies… cookies. This had been the worst McDonalds. From now I’ll consider going to the other McDonalds we have here in Havana… jk this place blows

I don’t know what goes on with this McDonald’s but they always seem to have a lot of employees. But yet they have you wait for 20 min plus. And then when you do get your food its always old. I do get a refund in the items but still crazy to half wait just to throw food away. Maybe new management to get them kids working up there

Look, honestly, this place would be 5 stars if it weren’t for one crew. I’m assuming there are different crews or something like that because we will get great, fast, consistent service on one day, then wait literally 15 minutes for a biscuit the next. And it will still be the wrong order! It seems that it’s specifically a certain morning crew (?). I don’t really know. I feel bad because this is a good McDonalds but you guys have got to figure out who is screwing things up in the morning. This is probably the 7th time this has happened which is why I am finally leaving a review. I’ve been late to work several times (when I had at least 15 minutes to spare) because of the morning crew.

Ok so my luck with McDonalds (Pekin Locations) and order accuracy has been well below par. However the staff and overall speed and efficiency at the Havana location has redeemed a bit of hope that there still are locations that address customer satisfaction as their #1 striving goal. Now I did go into the store on Spoon River Drive weekend and the store actually looked clean. So, if you are from the area you know what this means for traffic in general. This stores location is on the corner of one of the busiest intersections in Havana. So, needless to say, I know they were hit pretty hard several times over again. However the soft drink area was wrecked and this was amazing to be honest. That means everybody was thristy and in a rush and not.in my way. Good Job staff, seriously. But that is the reason for 4 Stars under Atmosphere. At a later date this review could very well be updated or edited.

Fries over priced and cold. Hot apple pies were not hot or even warm. Very close to ( 12 minutes) the enjoy by time and half of the pie was un eatable.

Hot and fresh as always. This is a perfect place for a stop and a meal. Staff was very friendly. It was a great resting place fir the drive from Galesburg to Springfield. Have used it 2 time and plan to again on our next trip south.

It’s a waste of money every time. Usually everyone is very friendly and doing what they can. The food just sucks, you’re usually missing something or waiting 30+ minutes for cold and messed up food. Doesn’t matter what I get, anytime of day it’s old/cold. Unless you’re getting coffee or soft drinks, save yourself the hassle and money and literally go anywhere else-Casey’s pizza or circle k sandwiches are better at this point.

You always hear people complain about “today’s young people”! I tend to find the most incredible young people more often than not! I stopped in the Havana location to treat myself to a mocha frappe with special instructions after a long crappy day. The young lady at the first window complimented my hat and was so sweet! At the second window Ari (sp?) told me that this frappe might be the best one she’s ever made!! It ended up being like the best one I’ve ever had!!! THANKS Ari!! When I apologized for being extra she mentioned that she actually likes making the drinks up with special requests( I was afraid it was a bother)! Also at the window with Ari, was another very nice young lady named Carolyn(sp?) She was so friendly and cheerful also chiming in that she doesn’t mind making up special request coffees either! Definitely recommend stopping here for a mocha frappe with added Oreo, and a friendly interaction with staff that doesn’t seem miserable!! Thanks you guys!
