I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my experience at this McDonald’s location on February 19, 2026. I went inside to order two McFlurrys because the drive-thru line was very long. Unfortunately, despite choosing to go inside, the front counter and the customers waiting there were repeatedly ignored.

There appeared to be a manager on duty (wearing a different uniform shirt) who consistently avoided the front counter unless she was greeting individuals she seemed to know personally. Meanwhile, multiple customers, including myself, were left standing and waiting without acknowledgment for an unreasonable amount of time.

What was most concerning, however, was how another customer was treated. A man who did not speak English was attempting to resolve an issue with his order after the kiosk receipts did not print. Believing his order may not have gone through, he accidentally placed it two additional times. He was trying to use Google Translate to communicate and understand what had happened. Despite this, staff — including the manager — did not remain at the counter long enough to properly assist him.

As a result, I felt compelled to step in as a fellow customer to help him communicate the issue, while my own order sat melting. I ended up spending an additional 20 minutes assisting him with something that should have been handled promptly and professionally by the staff.

I understand that drive-thru operations can be busy, but that does not justify neglecting customers inside the restaurant — especially when someone clearly needs assistance due to a language barrier. Ignoring a customer in that situation is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the level of service provided at this location.

This experience was extremely disappointing, and I would strongly caution others before choosing to visit this particular McDonald’s.

Went to get a hot tea and this is what I paid for hot water. This is ridiculous plus I needed it to help my throat out this morning because I wasnt feeling well at all. Definitely do not order hot tea from them and make sure u check u order.

Parking lot is full. There’s no place to park but nobody’s in the restaurant tried to go to the drive-through. They don’t speak up clearly or they don’t speak English. Wait inside and waited everyone’s angry and nobody wants to help you food feels like it’s been sitting there for at least 3 to 4 hours. Doesn’t taste good either.

I bought coffee at 6:00 a.m. at the Mac Donald’s in Hickory Hills, which is owned by MENDEZ family, while going down town. I specifically asked for it with vanilla. I paid extra 98 cents. After left , I realized they didn’t add any vanilla. I decided not to go back, so I’d go to next one on my way two miles away on the same 95th street Oaklawn, went in, and told them I’d bought coffee from the McDonald’s down the street. They forgot to put vanilla in my coffee. I asked them to add some vanilla. The employees have no customer satisfaction whatsoever. They told me it that was different store they can’t do it or if I want couple drop vanilla I have to pay
I got upset because as a costumer I was thinking they all Mc Donald’s should not avoid costumer needs,after I left I seen at the door this Oak Lawn location was belong also MENDEZ family. I don’t like writing reviews but they were rude and you repesent Mc Donald’s name be more friendly.

This place is super slow, can’t get orders right, and don’t know how to make chocolate shakes. The customers leaving the drive thru don’t comprehend what the left arrow or the right arrow to turn onto 95th street mean. ‍♀️

Don’t appreciate the attitude by the elderly lady with black glasses. She is clearly frustrated by the line and shouldn’t be back window if she’s can’t handle the line or speed. I simply told her that my total is wrong it should be 1.97 and she rolled her eyes at me and huffed and puffed. It was a simple mistake that was an easy fix but she made it unpleasant.

Ordered thru the app and then showed up in drive thru. Received 2 half a cup of McCurries. How sad. Took 30 mins to get my order. Here’s the pictures to prove how little portion I paid for. If.the amount paid for this amount of ice cream. I honestly am upset. And it’s expensive.
