I placed an order with extra Mac sauce and no American cheese, but unfortunately, my Big Mac was made incorrectly — it had cheese and barely any sauce. On top of that, the burger was cold when I got it. You can clearly see in the pictures that it doesn’t match my order.

What I do appreciate about this McDonald’s is that they usually give you the correct amount of sauce when you ask for extra — which a lot of other locations don’t get right.

I know this is a fast food chain, but at the end of the day, it’s really not that hard for cooks to follow directions. A little more attention to detail would go a long way.

This place has some of the rudest employees I’ve ever encountered. Specifically the women. They act very high and mighty towards all the customers. I spent $50 on a few breakfast meals and had to ask the lady 3 separate times for strawberry preserves because she kept handing me one at a time when she knew I order 4 orders of hotcakes and 3 breakfast sandwiches(I left with 3 preserves lol). This is a constant issue but it’s the only McDonald’s near by. Today’s meal was just nasty. Pancakes over done and taste horrendous and the sausage felt super rubbery from over doing those too. the guy though that is always there in the morning is always great to deal with. The women need to be retrained in basic customer service. Please and thank you

The McDonald’s in Elburn, Illinois has a serious problem with either incompetence or dishonesty when it comes to honoring app discounts.

On Saturday, November 15th, I opened the McDonald’s app, added the $1.00 coffee offer to my drive-thru code, and placed my order at the window. The discount didn’t apply. When I showed the employee my phone, she said their system was rebooting and refused to honor the deal.

A few days later, I tried again at the same location with the same $1.00 coffee offer. The discount still didn’t apply. The attendant told me to refresh the app, but even after doing that and generating a new code, nothing changed. When I tried to re-add the offer, the app said it had already been used. I told them to cancel my order, but later found out I was still charged.

Paying three times what was expected for a cup of coffee might seem trivial, but it’s frustrating and unacceptable. Either the employees don’t know how to correctly process discounts, or they’re choosing not to. McDonald’s needs to fix this issue immediately so customers aren’t overcharged for offers the company advertises but doesn’t honor.

Buyer beware at this location.

These people constantly get my order wrong even though its on the screen. The service is also very slow.

I ordered a 6c, and had to repeat myself like 7 times and then had to say the label snack wraps.
I asked dor a small mocha frappe aswell and they got that wrong aswell.

Its insane how often tbis.place messes up and im honestly done giving this place my money

Consistently Poor Drive-Thru Experience!!!

Every time I visit the McDonald’s in Elburn, IL, the drive-thru service is disappointing. They never provide a receipt unless you specifically ask for one, which makes it difficult to track purchases or check your order details. On top of that, the employee handing out the food is consistently rude and unfriendly — no greeting, no smile, and an overall bad attitude.

It’s frustrating because this is such a simple fix, but the issue has been going on for a long time. Management really needs to address the lack of professionalism and basic customer service at this location. Until then, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

Just avoid this place….you might get lucky and get a correct order 30% of the time, but when they screw the order up the other 70% of the time they will just argue with you and explain why their excuses validate their failures. With so few places to quickly grab food in this town, imagine how bad they must be for us to decide to stop using this store.

When I got up to the first window, I paid and the man working told us to pull forward and that we were all set. When we got to the window, we were handed the wrong food. The cashier came back around and told us we actually still owed money (we paid with a gift card and he said to pull forward before). When we received the correct food, my sandwich had not one, not two, but 3 short grayish white hairs inside. Absolutely disgusting!

ALWAYS rude! There is only one man who works the morning who is the sweetest guy ever. Everybody else is rude with an attitude. No manners or respect! They’ll mess up your order and won’t even apologize, and then acuse you of lying. They also close early and stop serving ice cream way too early. Literally ridiculous

The absolute worst and slowest McDonald’s ever. Inexplicable 5 minute eats in the drive through just to place your order. If one drive through lane is answered immediately it’s always the one that you’re not in. One lane will take four orders while you’re waiting in the other to place yours.
