Rude woman at 410 am on 01/09/2026. Used all to pick up coffee, rudely told app is down, waited… asked after 10 minutes, “I told you the app is down!” I left. How about more information? If I was going to sit down, totally different situation. I’m in my car, going to work.
Don’t try to complain in the app. I’ve probably had ten occasions out of the past twenty times i’ve been there where there is attitude issues or wrong order. Staff at this restaurant has always been the worse in the past 10 years I’ve went here. I’m done.

I deliver for DoorDash. I took a customer’s order for this McDonald’s location. When I arrived, I asked for help to see if they had the order ready. The manager started yelling and rudely told the employee who was helping me to go back to his work area if the order wasn’t ready. I don’t recommend going to that place; that’s how she treats employees and customers. She shouldn’t be there.

I always go to the IL Rte 173 location and never had a complaint, but today I visited the Sheridan Rd location and their drive thru service sucks. I ordered the mccrispy strips and asked what sauce I wanted. I asked for creamy chili sauce, they didn’t say anything until I got to the window, they said they no longer have it, so I asked for Buffalo sauce and the girl wanted to charge for sauce!!!!!!! Why?!?! First of all, why didn’t they tell me when I initially placed my order that they don’t have that type of sauce anymore and then when I ask for a different one, they want to charge me???? Never going back again and this isn’t the first time something similar happens.

I ordered several different sándwiches and drink. The sándwiches were fresh. Mask is not required and staff don’t wear gloves while preparing the food. Fileto fish sándwiche was good mcchicken I asked for Spice and they gave me regular.

Today is the last day. I ordered one sausage patty, one orange juice before 10:30am on the app, got to the store at 10:34am to be told they are not serving breakfast. This location is one of the worst restaurants second to Waukegan McDonalds on Sunset, yet the line is around the parking lot daily. Won’t be getting my money anymore.

2025 re-review down below. How many people are not receiving what they paid for at the two Zion McDonalds locations? I feel like it’s being done on purpose. This time they give me 4 chicken nuggets instead of chicken strips. 4 chicken nuggets to do not equal a $10 chicken strip meal. I will do what I should have did a long time ago and just never go back to any McDonald’s location since this keeps frustrating me so much. I would have gave zero stars.
I came in todo a new review on this location. I ordered two double hamburgers, chicken nuggets, a basket of fries, one donut, and one large lemonade. Kiosks are never worked on or fixed so of course I had to wait at the register for the shift manager/ QC person to check me out. I love kiosks because you don’t have to deal with the staff and their attitude or negative vibe. The man checked me out, and then immediately gave me the wrong size lemonade, which I took back to the counter and waited for him to remake. I waited the normal amount of time for the order and proceeded to open each sandwich to make sure it was made correctly because this location can’t handle that sometimes. Sandwiches were all made right this time, but he forgot the donut and barbecue and ketchup that I all ordered. I went back to the counter again to have him look at my receipt again to provide me with what I ordered. Why do I have to double and triple check that you are giving me what I paid for. I don’t like asking you to give me what I ordered as much as you don’t like me asking you to give me what I ordered. I’ve had 7 issues with this McDonald’s since last year. Ordering through the drive through is incredibly annoying when you have to repeat yourself or deal with some passive aggressive lady who doesn’t care to be there. I once ordered a big breakfast with steak and hotcakes only to get home and see the it was just hotcakes and eggs and they “didn’t hear” the order that I repeated twice to them. A lot of unlocked in people at this location, except the one guy with glasses and the mustache who is incredibly polite and efficient in his work. That one particular man is the only person at this location I don’t double check the bag with. If you order a lot of food from this location, get your receipt, check your bag, because they aren’t checking it at all. Store is usually always clean.

Came to this McDonald’s thinking it would be better than the one near the roach motel-
Boy was I wrong – store is dirty & the customer service was terrible. Not a good morning, not a okay anything else, not a total, not a here’s your food have a good day, not even a smile!
Food was decent but missing items and napkins.

Manager can’t or won’t speak English. My order was wrong two times and she just stared at me until someone came to the front that spoke English. This was the second time I’ve had a problem with her. The first time I didn’t get my French fries. This restaurant used to be good when they had a male manager. This lady sucks. My order never was corrected today when I ate here. Two sandwiches were made, both were not made as I had customized them.
