Napkin dispenser was empty, soda. Machine was broken. Got two ketchup packets for a large fry and 20 nuggets. And two napkins. Place is crap.

The place was lively when I went in. A little busy, but always to be expected at a McDonald’s. Barely got much, so the order came quickly, and the taste was as expected. The cleanliness is pretty decent too and everything is updated.

One of the worst McDonald’s I have been to. I drive Uber/Lyft all over the entire Chicago area and often end up at McDonald’s because of consistently clean restrooms, good service, and a consistent quality of food.
Here was lacking service. I always order through the app for “counter pickup” as I walk in so the food can be prepared as I use the restroom. Often the food is ready by the time I am out. Not here. Well, it was busy, no worries. While my order was “processing”, 2 people had to go back to the counter because of mistakes in their orders. Then suddenly my number disappeared from the screen. Ok, means my food will be next, right? Nope. Lady who ordered after me got hers first (and she was upset at the service and long wait). So I asked about mine. Apparently I was supposed to tell them I was there? Um, No, that is Not how this works. I was in the store when I placed my order, so the app goes straight to “We are preparing it now. You cannot cancel it.” Also, I can Not tick any box “I am here” – because it does Not Exist. Every Other McDonalds in the Entire Chicago Area knows this and puts the food on the counter when it’s ready. But here they expect the customer to be psychic and know that this store does Not Follow the Rules. The lady who was behind me had been watching the kitchen the entire time we were waiting. Her theory was that there were clearly too many people back there and no one knew what anyone else was doing and thought someone else was doing what they should have been doing themselves and it all ended up a complete mess.

This is a horrible McDonald’s I do not recommend it at all. Firstly I ordered my items on the kiosk and went to pay at the kiosk, the cashier seemed like he was not trained at all, I think McDonald’s should do better and train their employees. Secondly I noticed it’s been over 30 minutes since I ordered my Burger so I naturally went to the counter to ask and there was a lot of arguing going on in the back of the restaurant, this is EXTREMELY unprofessional, vulgar language and very loud. Lastly, I received my burger after waiting what seemed like an eternity just to receive it cold, stale bread, and cheese that was not melted at all it was as if they were just took the cheese out and placed it on the burger. So in conclusion I do not recommend this McDonald’s at all, this is extremely unprofessional and makes the business look a mess. The date of my visit was August 30, 2025 at around 7PM.

It’s McDonald’s, nothing too special to expect from them. The workers there always treat me nicely though. I usually order through the mobile app because when ordering through drive thru or even order through cashier many times order is either messed up or not as expected since they have times to get the order out by or ton of orders to make up within few seconds or minutes. Overall, nuggets and fries for me come out nice and fresh. Inside does get a bit crowded in the evening and weekends since the lake is right besides this location when there are events going on or just people wanting to grab a quick bite when going out at night ! Parking is tight. Station of the drinks and napkins/straws area is never fully stocked or no flavor syrup in their drinks most of the time either but they get to it if address to satisfy customers.

Definitely not going back ! Today I spent over $30 for food on me and my kids and I get home and my daughters nuggets has a roach stuck on it ! I go back in person and the “ Manager” Veronica and Mariah couldn’t do anything to solve the issue, I asked for my refund and they said they couldn’t do anything about it after Veronica had called me crazy and had the nerve to say that was part of the nugget. The managers have no customer service skills .

Great location one block away from the court house the staff is always nice and helpful foods always hot and cook fresh every time I’m there but could be more cleaner in the dinning area behind the booths ann bathroom also they have a security present now
