The staff has always been great, and I’ve even completed multiple 5-star surveys from my receipts.
Today, I requested a simple substitution: a round egg instead of the folded egg on my bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit, because the folded eggs are cooked on plastic (YUCK).
I was told they couldn’t do that, even if I was willing to pay an upcharge. I’m sorry, but it’s ridiculous that such a simple request can’t be accommodated. I just want a real egg on my sandwich. Unfortunately, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. Again, the staff has been great over the years. Thank You.
I placed a mobile order at McDonald’s and ordered four large fries. When I got home, I realized two of the fries were half empty—literally not even close to full. I called the store to report the issue, and the supervisor I spoke to (I believe his name was Oscar) apologized and told me to come back and they would replace the two fries they messed up.
When I got back to the store, I was helped a a mix breed female employee at the window who had a clear attitude from the start. She asked me the supervisor’s name, and I wasn’t sure at first, but I remembered it was Oscar. Instead of communicating clearly or being helpful, she just told me the total for the fries like I was placing a new order—even though the manager had already approved the replacement.
I asked her if the supervisor was coming to the window, and she finally said he already told her to go ahead and give me the fries. But she never communicated that in the first place. She handed me the receipt and shut the window without a word of explanation, apology, or even basic respect.
Let’s be real if you work in fast food, you deal with customers all day. If you don’t like your job, don’t take it out on customers, especially when they’re fixing a mistake your team made. I didn’t come at anyone with an attitude. I simply came back to get what I paid for, and I was treated like I was doing them a favor.
Y’all messed up my order, wasted my gas, and then gave me attitude on top of that. The least I expected was decent customer service and some respect. Do better.
Coffee was weak and not very warm .Very surprised ! Usually nice and hot . Kind of a shame . Wendy’s gives us a free senior coffee .
