This has been maybe the 3rd time I’ve visited this location this month and the day shift is way better than the night shift. The night shift just has constant cussing, very dirty tables and poor atmosphere. I get it, if you’re rushed, the lobby won’t be perfect. However there wasn’t a line for drive thru, and there was only one other person in there. These pictures don’t do it’s justice. On a good note, the food wasn’t terrible, and they got my order correct!

The service was decently average but the food was terrible. I simply orders 2 double cheeseburgers and they were both smashed, falling apart and missing the mustard and pickles. Won’t be back here for a while.

Tried the app for the first time. After 20 minutes of waiting in curbside pickup went into store and asked about my meal. No clue where it was but was ultimately found on front counter.

Don’t bother using the app to order ahead, they will either mess up the order or get multiple cars around you before getting your order. Just go drive through as it is their only priority, even if you pick up through it, you will wait for multiple vehicles to go around you.

Filthy McDonald’s. Floor was sticky and gross. We found ONE clean table in the play area in the entire restaurant. All of the trash cans were over flowing. Kids meal cheese burgers didn’t have cheese on the burgers-receipt clearly showed cheese was on the order. Haven’t been to a McDonald’s in years and won’t be back. This place consistently forgets items on orders, then if you leave the restaurant without noticing the error and want a refund you have to drive all way back to the store. Also manger is very rude when responding to customers complaints. 11-8-2025 1:00pm

We just went to McDonald’s on our way out of town for lunch and they put the wrong food in the bag we didn’t look until we had already gotten out of town. not even close to what we ordered. The worker even double checked that it was right ! The nuggets weren’t even fresh.

Me and my boyfriend ordered two large meals, they tried giving us medium drinks. When we told the worker we asked for large she rolled her eyes and asked a worker to confirm, then told the worker loud enough for us to hear “well then your gonna have to pull them forward” in a very rude manner. When we finally got our order they filled one soda to the brim and hand me mine which wasn’t full. It upsets me that they never take the time out of their day to make sure you have quality food especially if you see a full drink next to my drink that’s clearly not full, yes I understand it’s fast food but you could atleast fill the drinks. WE CONSTANTLY GET SKIMPED ON OUR DRINKS. may not seem like a big whoop to some but I enjoy a drink with my meal and when I order a large drink I expect it to not have as much as what a medium should hold.

Took this while I was still in the drive thru. Waited forever for a sandwich and a drink. Got a medium in a large cup but paid for large. Asked if I could get it filled and refused. Couldn’t even get my receipt. Do yourself a favor drive the extra 15 minutes to Ames. You’ll get better service and food that’s half way decent. Oh and a full drink.
