The manager at this McDonald’s 401 Ankeny boulevard I believe his name is Abraham he’s just a young man but he is phenomenal and obviously cares very much about his job and the people that he’s serving and he needs to be recognized for this thank you now for more than one time handling issues I have a rose with trying to use the app. He has done so with no frustration and with a smile on his face each time and handled it very quickly and personably this is and will remain my favorite McDonald’s and my main McDonald’s because of this young man dedication to his job and the fact that he is dedicated to his customers happiness.

Rude, and felt like I was an inconvenience. I came here when they opened for breakfast and the lady who took my order told me she’d have my total at the window. When I pulled up she didn’t even greet me just held her arm out for my payment. Not a hello or thank you or even the total for that matter.. Not a word. Just closed the window. Then when I got to the pick up window she handed me my Diet Coke which I could tell was so watered down it looked like iced tea. It tasted awful. No carbonation or flavor. I threw it out when I got home. She told me to pull up to the drive thru pick up area where I waited 10 mins for hashbrowns. Mind you, I was the only one there. When she brought me my food she just handed it to me. Not a word. Not a thanks for waiting..nothing. I don’t know but customer service goes a long way. I get that it’s early and some people aren’t morning people but to be so rude is unacceptable. Won’t be back.

First when we ordered through drive through it took very long to take our order, the menu wasn’t even on the screen plus we had to repeat what we said many times, and our food we ordered was on the other ordering screen. Then when I got the windows they asked if we were 3 different peoples orders and after we got our food they messed up what I wanted in my cheeseburger and didn’t fill up the fries very much. Overall I do not recommend this location.

Wednesday October 22nd. Ordered a soda. The red haired lady that took my money was very nice. Skinny little guy at the window was very rude. I said hi, he didn’t answer. The drinks came with no lids. He threw the straw at me. Awful.

We have been there twice in the last 2 weeks and no Monopoly pieces on items that we purposely ordered for the tabs. Today the food we ordered at the mobile parking spot was cold!! This used to be our McDonald’s go to but it has significantly gone down hill!! Give us our Monopoly tabs!!!!!

Are you serious? You want 15 bucks a hour? Calm down on the sauce and you could afford to give me a slice of cheese like i ordered. You scimmin on the cheese ? I think enough is enough. I had to work for this. While you sat in that drive through and did nothing except throw a old non put together right fish sandwich in a bag and hand it to me with not one care in the world that you just ripped me off being lazy and worth nothing a hour. Brought two ice cream cones in a cup. When I returned home in a very shot time. I notice I got shorted on the amount of product in the cup. I am stop payment at my bank. I will no longer purchase food at any locations especially when you hired a stalker whom is employed at this location

This McDonalds is truly the WORST! There is something wrong with my order 95% of the time and the fries are always cold.
Tonight I ordered a bacon double no pickle add mayo and a chicken nuggets kids meal. I get home and it’s a regular mcdouble and a cheeseburger kids meal. My husband took the order back and got the correct order…..he opens his bacon mcdougle and there are 3 teeny tiny pieces of bacon on the sandwich
Figured I’d give these guys a second try….boy do I regret it!
The drive thru was busy so I went inside. Took them over ten minutes to take my order after looking at me multiple times. I stood there quietly at the register waiting. The chick that took my order was snotty and acted like it was an inconvenience that I came inside to order. I order two mcdoubles no pickle add mayo and I got my sandwiches after ten minutes they were both hot but the condition of how the sandwiches were put together was beyond words. I had to “rebuild” the sandwiches when I got home. Needless to say I’ll be contacting corporate this is beyond ridiculous (see photos below)
