Seriously, though—it’s hard working at McDonald’s, or any restaurant. Little things like silverware, butter, and syrup are easily missed when breakfast is almost over, the line is long, and workers are racing the clock so corporate and customers don’t give them grief. Managers juggle orders, complaints, and staffing crises, while crew members just try to survive the day.
That’s why I take responsibility also. I should’ve checked my bag and asked politely for silverware and syrup. I know the staff here would have happily fixed it. The food itself was good—and maybe skipping syrup and butter saved me a few calories! Admittedly, it was a bit disappointing without condiments. I wish I felt more confident speaking up, even over small things.
So here’s my advice: check your bag. Smile, make eye contact, say thank you, and wish them a nice day. Or, if you want to brighten things up, try “que tengas un buen día” (keh TEN-gahs oon bwen DEE-ah, for my fellow monolingual English speakers). Let’s just be better humans to each other where we can.
We had our food brought to our table. We had a number and when we asked the guy about our drinks he said you can get them yourself. We didn’t want to reach to the side or behind the counter and grab our own cups, but I guess that’s how things are run.
It was filthy.

Everyone except for one Hispanic guy was rude or ignored us, we just wanted sauce lol
I’m grateful the he acknowledged us. But by the time we got back to our table, our food was cold. And listen, I understand when you’re inside you pour your own drink drinks but since when do you just grab your own cups from the side of the cash register?
Also, that bathroom smelled like a cootie queen lint licker!!!!
Myself and the vehicle behind left out of the drive thru after the disrespect from the speaker jockey.
They said ,”yeah”. I asked if I could have a minute. They respond with, “go ahead”. I repeat “can I have a minute?”. He comes back with “place your order” so assuming they didn’t hear me the first 2 loudly spoken times, I said loudly enough for all vehicles around me to hear “CAN I HAVE A MINUTE PLEASE?”.
No response, just switched to the o the speaker, ignoring me for 5 vehicles after I stated I was ready to order 3 times. Myself and the vehicle behind me left the drive thru and they immediately ask the following vehicle for their order.
