This place has always hired sub par individuals who served below par food.

There must have been an investigation or something because there has been a major change in the quality of food currently being served. The food is now fresh, hot n given to you in a timely manner, but the accuracy of an order still remains an issue.
My order was incorrect last week n I let it go. I order the same thing tonight n it was incorrect again! I decided I was taking it back this time n when I did, the lady at the window was passive aggressive while receiving my complaint. The employee that gave me the correct order, needs more customer service training, infact, everyone that works at this establishment, including the managers, supervisors n owners could use some customer service training!

Here goes nothing! Guys, without your customers, there’s no profits, no business n no paychecks! The customer is ALWAYS RIGHT!!! Apologize n correct the order, while ensuring that you will try to prevent the error from happening again. Apologize again n then request that they return back soon! What is so hard about that! Why must everyone take everything so personal!!!! All I did was place n pay for my order.

I won’t patronize this local McDonald’s ever again! I’ve given this place to many chances n too much of my hard earned paychecks. I’d rather drive several miles away to the next McDonald’s if I can place, pay n receive my fresh, hot accurate order w/o improperly trained, passive aggressive employees ruining my appetite for nothing I did incorrectly!

Dear 5th Avenue Yo, OH McDonald’s, the changes that you have finally incorporated recently, have been great! Please, continue to work on things. This establishment has a great location n has great potential to be financially lucrative, but unfortunately, you have lost this customer for good! I will not patronize this establishment for the least expensive item on the menu!

The customer experience is a major part of the McDonald’s brand name n unfortunately, as I mentioned previously, this establishment has ruined that experience one too many times for me! I maybe one customer, but 1+1= 2, so forth n so on… every one bad experience soon multiplies into more n more, the next thing you know, your in the local paper under a title, ‘Capter 5, BANKRUPTCY ‘!

Very mismanaged. Walked in and ordered food. My food was hot yes. Fries tasted like they were cooked In old grease. We got three large sweet teas with our food. The sweet teas tasted like water. No tea flavor no sweetness. So we asked for a different beverage. Well they have no other beverages. Only the watered down tea and hot coffee. Why would you not tell people this before ordering???? Now I have no beverage with my food because y’all can’t tell people you have no beverages besides hot coffee. And watered down unsweet tea.

I went through the drive-thru and ordered a 10 piece nugget with hot mustard, a large coke zero and a large ice water. The women in the drive-thru are always extremely friendly. They gave me my drinks and had me pull forward. There were already 4 cars waiting ahead of me and not much room for me to pull clear of the window. Luckily 2 of the cars received their food and moved quickly. I waited for a little longer than usual but to me it wasn’t a big deal. The poor guy in front of me waited much longer. When I got my food, I drove away without checking the bag. That was my mistake. When I was able to eat my nuggets they were divided into a 4 piece and 6 piece box. No biggie, they’re all going to the same place. I reached into the bag and grabbed a hot mustard and opened it, and started eating the 4 piece. I ate the 2 on top and when I picked up the third nugget, there underneath was a short black hair. Ugh. I closed the box and pulled out the 6 piece and inspected it closely. They appeared okay so I grabbed the 2nd sauce. Remember, I asked for HOT mustard. They gave me HONEY mustard. I’m allergic to honey.

Of course, I didn’t ask for my receipt so I didn’t bother taking anything back. I only paid $2 with a coupon and my appetite was gone anyway. It’s just frustrating.

I’ve had issues at this location before but I’ve never written a review. They were minor anyway, a wrong drink that I caught before driving away, no CO2 in the pop, and a drive-thru that was ridiculously slow because everyone was working that night was stoned out of their minds.

I go to this location because they are convenient but it’s not really worth it. I’ll start driving further for my fountain Coke zero fix.

Fifth avenue McDonald’s has to be by far the WORST in North East Ohio. The customer service was absolutely terrible. “My order was cancelled and supposedly refunded back to my account.” I go back in a week later to ask about my refund and the “manger”on duty was very hostile. Like I had a reason to lie about not getting my order. Then they tell me it has nothing to do with them because I put my order in on the app. None of my questions were answered. She claimed they would have to review the camera to confirm but couldn’t because she didn’t have the time to do so. Mind you me and my boyfriend are the only two people in the establishment. With maybe one car in the drive thru. There were at least four people behind the counter. She made no kind of effort to try and resolve the issue in the moment. If I could give a negative star rating I would. Names need to be put on the receipt so specific associates can be identified.

My son’s big mac look like a bite was take out of it anf the second patty was put together out of two different pieces of a patty. I threw it away because I already took a trip back to the store because out chicken sandwich was never placed in the bag. I understand things happen, I’m just disappointed with the quality today.

UPDATE 1/24/25. Amy working late night is a rare gem, props to her for being a genuine human, nice, easy to talk too! As a Dasher, always appreciate it! BUT, SHAME ON PURDUE, the OWNERS! I’m making this review not about the staff although some truly are jerks, from past walk~in experience earlier eve.
The point of my post is the horrible people that run and own several area McDonald’s. I don’t eat ever @ McD’s! I’ve emailed I’ve called and I’ve heard from many staff who are exhausted. Work solo when all employees call off! CLOSE THR SHIFT THEN YO! SHAME ON THE OWNERS!

This has to be one of the worst chain restaurants I have ever visited. They had us pull up because our food wasn’t ready which was no problem. I took a sip of my drink and it was flat. When she brought me my food. I asked her if I could please have a different drink and if she could throw this away. She said nah I ain’t throwing that out. What do you want to drink just like that and had another chick bring it out to me. Which she kindly took the other drink for me. We asked for a side of Big Mac sauce and they squeezed it into a box that you put chicken nuggets in. The food was gross. It was sloppy greasy. Not only was the food expensive but I had the worst experience there. Such an ignorant person. And food was just thrown together. You guys really need to be shut down.

This location used to be the best around but in the past year or so it’s gotten terrible. The exterior is a mess and service for even one sandwich takes an increasingly long time. I was in the drive-through wait spot for a single sandwich, not a special order, for 26 minutes. I finally went inside to find it in chaos, no one manning the front. I know stuff is hard right now, but I’ve never experienced such a fall for a solid location / management before. I had to leave today without the food I paid for because no one was serving customers in store.

Service here is absolutely horrible. Lady running drive thru yelling about customers in front of counter customers. If this is how management acts here then they need a overhaul on new management and staff. I ordered a frappe and not sure why it took almost 20 minutes for me to get it and I was on counter. When I asked about it the staff gave me nothing but attitude. Definitely will not be coming back to this place
