I have had multiple orders in the last 2 months where there were issues with my orders from the Powell McDonald’s! I ordered thru a delivery app as it is difficult to get McDonald’s in person. These are just some of the mess ups recently. I cannot just drop everything and drive to McDonald’s to have them fix my order when they mess up! That’s why I had my orders delivered! I’ve talked to 3 different managers to let them know of the issues and the issues keep happening!! They told me they would fix my order each time if I drove to the store. I’m so done ordering from this Powell McDonald’s store! At least when I am in that store, I can just walk up to the counter to have my order fixed.
Buyer beware you may not get what you ordered and paid for from McDonald’s in Powell!! Argh!!
Egg & Cheese McMuffin, hold the meat. They leave out the egg but give me the meat!
Double quarter cheese meal, bit into a 5″ black course hair I had to scrape it off my tongue! Couldn’t eat for hours afterwards!!
Double quarter cheese meal and got a triple quarter cheese sandwich in my meal!
Double quarter Fillet meal 3 different times and got a single fillet meal each time! I paid for a double filet meal.
Ordered a Coke with one of my meals and got a Coke Zero.
Ordered a Coke with one of my meals and got a Diet Coke!
No straws in the bag multiple times!
Two different times I was parked at drive thru and received someone elses order both time! One of those times they messed up on my order 3 times and just told me to keep the extra food in the bag.
I so do not recommend McDonald’s in Powell unless you like dealing with messed up orders you paid for!

Food is decent. Fairly quick. Employees/mgmt can be quite rude sometimes. Went through for a coffee with cream this AM. Lady at window was kind but walked away after giving coffee/no cream. Mgr comes to window with attitude…”did you ask for cream when you ordered!?!” Which I had. Then rudely proceeds to tell me she’ll be back.
As I check my bag. I receive one cream. For my medium coffee. lol
Actual employees were kind. Mgmt seemed unnecessarily grumpy.

This McDonald’s is better than most locations and generally faster, which helps. That said, order accuracy still isn’t perfect every visit. When they get it right, it’s exactly what you expect and hits the spot. Just wish consistency matched the improved service.

Ordered a double cheeseburger with no bun no nothing just meat and cheese. Checked the bag before we drove away and got a bun with just cheese on it no meat or anything else went back to the drive-through management and personal hanging out. Food were rude. Acting like it was our fault. This is the people wanting extra money. What a joke.

They made their food cheaper and sacrificed quality. I got the cheeseburger meal for my granddaughter and the meat was so thin you couldn’t taste it. Another time I received lukewarm fries. I asked for hot and they quickly got me hot fries and that is why they got 4 stars on service instead of 3. The Powell Ohio location is a disappointment.

We met a friend there. He got his food and was eating before we had finished putting in our order. Then a lady yelled into the lobby that everyone’s food was going to have to be too go because the lobby was closing in 6 minutes and if anyone was eating, they’d have to take their food with them. She was very rude when handing us our food and said it was made to go for us, but didn’t bother filling the soft drinks to go for us or providing a drink carrier. I understand that the lobby closes at a certain time, but I have never had someone be so rude at a McDonald’s before. They’ve locked the doors so no new customers could come in, but allowed us to finish our food. I wouldn’t have minded if she’s asked if it could be too go or at least just come to us and told us she couldn’t do table service because the lobby was closing. Our even if she’d just provided a drink carrier.

I’m a local and have been a regular at the Attucks location, but breakfast service is consistently unreliable. While I understand mistakes happen, the frequency and type of errors made is far above what feels acceptable.
Orders are often wrong or missing items, and on my last visit a full third of my order never made it into the bag. This happened despite no line and ordering through the app. I’ll keep enjoying McDonald’s, but will now be going out of my way to visit other locations where accuracy is better and will be advising others to do the same. I don’t want an apology or compensation, as the lack of my business moving forward, paired with this review will suffice.

This McDonald’s experience was rough from start to finish. When I walked in, it looked like the place was running itself. Hardly any staff in sight, just a few people wandering around behind the counter like they weren’t sure what to do next. The wait for food was way longer than it should be, especially for a place known for being fast.
When I finally got my order, it wasn’t even what I asked for. No apology, no explanation, just a bag of food that I didn’t recognize. Honestly, the whole experience was frustrating and disappointing. I get that places have off days, but this felt more like a full-on shutdown. Definitely not going back anytime soon.
Bonus points for being clean and for my food at least being hot, even though it’s not what I ordered I still ate it. Because even the wrong McDonalds order is still good.
