This review is about the staff… YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!! Today is my kiddos birthday and all they wanted to do was get a happy meal and he was very pleased that ALL the staff at the window came to tell him happy birthday! Seriously the coolest thing!! Y’all are killing it!!

I have went there multiple times and some how my order is CONSTANTLY WRONG….I don’t have time to go back there once I have left my lunch break does not give me enough time with the drive and wait for the food. I ordered 40 nuggets, large fries with a large coke with 2 triple cheese burgers with mayo and lettuce…..I got absolutely no cheese burgers….I order a decent amount of food so when I get off I can eat it later so not only am I out the 12 almost 13 dollars I have to pay more for food like I don’t get why it is so hard its reasons like this that fast food does not need $15+ an hour cause you can’t even do your very simple job correctly so word of advice stay away from this McDonald’s.

Every time I go to this McDonald’s there is an issue. Whether it’s that they can’t get the order right or cold soggy fries. In the 3 years I’ve been living in Mount Vernon I have to have a satisfactory experience from this franchise. Tonight was my last visit. Its location isn’t worth the headache I have to deal with every time I go there. If you have the option go somewhere else!!

now i don’t ever leave reviews but im done with this location. by far the worst mcdonald’s in mount vernon. every time i go here i have some type of issue. the past 2 times ive been at this specific location (which i try to avoid knowing how badly they mess up) ive gotten a quarter pounder with only onions and cheese and both times they have put everything on it and then put the sticker on it that says only onions and cheese which is incorrect. and now on to the fries. i always get 2 NO SALT fries. i used to work at a mcdonald’s i know exactly how every single one runs cause they all run the same. i KNOW when they double fry the fries. which is exactly what they have done. my fries were hot but super salty and tasted old which is what happens when you don’t want your times messed up and you quickly dip the fries in the grease for 30 seconds and then pull them out and use them as “fresh” or “no salt” when they clearly are NOT. do better this is peoples time and money. and i’m also not going to go back across town and waste more gas to get something fixed that should’ve been correct to begin with.

I’m honestly baffled by all the five-star reviews here. My experience was the total opposite. Walked in and immediately noticed how chaotic everything felt. Tables hadn’t been wiped down, trash was overflowing, and the smell near the entrance was… not inviting.
The “friendly service” everyone keeps mentioning must’ve taken the day off. I stood at the counter for a good five minutes before anyone even acknowledged me, despite multiple employees walking right past. When someone finally took my order, they barely said a word, and I got the vibe I was inconveniencing them.
As for the food? My McMuffin was lukewarm and rubbery, like it had been sitting under a heat lamp way too long. Nothing “fresh made” about it. I’m glad others had a good time, but for me, it was one of the worst McDonald’s visits I’ve had in a long while. Definitely not coming back to this location.
