Gave 2 stars because manager was cool. Burger was not cooked. The manager offered to make me a fresh one himself but I declined and requested a refund. This has happened now 2x at this location just go to the one on 34th st.

Having to wait 30 mins in a drive thru is outrageous! I pull up to one speaker and get asked to hold for a moment. I work in the food industry so I know how it is. Politely I say take your time. Little did I know they would take that literally. I waited for 20 mins and during that time they took 2 other orders from the other speaker. Then I continued to wait another 10 mins before I get asked what I want. No apologies no courtesy.

Waited 20 minutes in the drive through, servers were rude, sprite was flat, my kids happy meals were not closed just wide open. By the time I got home food was cold, note I don’t live far like 3 minutes away. Worst of all my burger was slathered in ketchup, an insane amount of ketchup, my hands were covered in ketchup and the burger tasted horrible because of it

Is 15 minutes too long for an iced coffee? That’s how long I stood at the counter, waiting as the McDonald’s kitchen staff discussed their weekly drama. I was given the wrong order after about 5-10 minutes, Eventually, I had to take action! I was not going to wait at a McDonald’s counter for 20 minutes of my day just for an over-priced iced coffee. When I finally said “I’m just waiting on an iced coffee,” the manager snapped back “stand back from my counter!” As if he was Gandalf the Grey from Lord of the Rings, and I was a Balrog from the Mines of Moria. “Stand back from my counter!” The manager said again, repeatedly, until I was finally given an iced coffee I no longer wanted anymore. I had no choice but to lean over the counter or else I would have waited for 20 minutes. The receipt said the order was placed at 3:10 and I walked out around 3:25-3:30pm. So much for “fast food,” McGandalf.

I suggest that anyone who likes and appreciates GOOD SERVICE, should STAY AWAY from this McDonald’s IN THE EVENING.
Earlier today, at 4:06-4-16 pm, my son went to this McDonalds via Uber to pick up some orders that a few of our family members placed and paid for on-line. The people there during the day were FANTASTIC in attitude, but UNFORTUNATELY, there were errors on two of my family’s on-line orders. Among the orders my family members placed ONLINE, were for ONE SPICY MCCHICKEN and TWO REGULAR MCCHICKENS.
WHAT they GOT WERE THREE SPICY MCCHICKENS, The two Spicy McChickens THAT they GOT BY MISTAKE were not eaten, because the children who ordered them said they were way too hot. My son tried to call, but NO ONE ANSWERED, and they waited for me to get home, so he could go back in there to get the two Spicy McChickens REPLACED. He was not able to go back to McDonalds until 8:30 this evening. He went to the counter, explained what happened, and was told to wait. HE WAITED FOR TWENTY MINUTES, and was THEN told, AFTER WAITING A FULL TWENTY MINUTES, that he WAITED TOO LONG TO GO BACK, AND THEY REFUSED TO REPLACE THE TWO SANDWICHES!
When my son returned home and explained what happened, I called and asked for a manager. The FEMALE who answered told me that SHE is the manager. I asked for her name and she mumbled something like “Ree”. I asked her to spell her name, and SHE HUNG UP ON ME. I tried to call back A DOZEN TIMES, EACH TIME, someone picked up the phone, SAID NOT A WORD, then HUNG UP.
Finally, a young man answered and told me again that WE WAITED TOO LONG TO GO BACK IN, but could go in, in the morning, if we had a problem!
MY SON WORKS DURING THE DAY. HE WAS ONLY AT HOME DURING THE DAY TODAY, BECAUSE IT IS SUNDAY!
I EXPLAINED THAT, he told me to hold on — then he or someone there hung up on me AGAIN!
I tried to call AGAIN another SEVEN TIMES!
EACH TIME, someone picked up the phone, DID NOT SPEAK, but laid the phone down, then after a couple of minutes HUNG UP ON ME AGAIN.
We had NOT been to this McDonalds in MONTHS. We USED TO GO THERE SEVERAL TIMES A WEEK!
If my son gets home from work before 5:00 pm TOMORROW, he will go back to see if they will replace the two Spicy McChickens. I DUG ONE OUT OF THE TRASH, SO THAT HE CAN TAKE IT WITH HIM. That will be the LAST TIME WE WILL GO BACK THERE AT NIGHT!
UNLESS YOU ARE DESPERATE AND STARVING, I SUGGEST STAYING AWAY FROM THE MCDONALDS AT RUTLAND PLAZA AT NIGHT.
I gave ONE STAR because it’s NOT POSSIBLE to give **NO STARS**!
***********UPDATE***********
THIS ENTIRE ISSUE WAS RESOLVED WITHIN TWO MINUTES OF MY SON’S RETURN TO THIS MCDONALD’S AROUND 5:00 PM ON MONDAY, January 19, 2026. THANK YOU TO THE CREW AND EAPECIALLY THE DAYTIME MANAGER AT MCDONALD’S RUTLAND PLAZA! YOU ARE ALL AMAZING!

This McDonald’s blew me away! The service was great! The staff was quick and efficient and very attentive. The whole entire McDonald’s was spic and span inside and out! The staff and management do a very good job at keeping the business very appealing customer wise and efficient business wise. And the one very unique thing about this McDonald’s I like the most, that I haven’t seen in any of the McDonalds, was the nice remodel retro look they gave it from the 1960s and 70s. It was really awesome to see something so unique like this in a McDonald’s franchise! Good job to the person who thought this one up. This was a really enjoyable experience and I will definitely be coming back.

The staff in this restaurant gotta be the rudest and most disrespectful staff in any fast food chain I’ve ever been in. I’m an uber eats driver and went to pick up an order. It was past 10pm and 37 degrees outside, so i went in the drive thru since i thought they’d be closed inside. I get told at the speaker to pull around and then sarcastically told that I could come inside. When I get to the window after hearing them be rude to the car in front of me, I get rudely told that I have to come inside and that Im running her time up. I cancelled and didnt even bother to deal with them anymore. Never even accepting an order from this location again.

Love this McDonald’s since it near my house and I been going here over 4 year now, 9.8/10 the time everything goes well, the staff I speak to is alway nice, funny story there a time I order 2 cheeseburger (first time in my life ) when I went home to open it there was no patty just the bun and cheese + ketchup pickle , I really thought that how a cheese burger is bc cheese + bun = cheese burger

Terrible service. Employees were obviously upset by the fact I wanted a drink refill. I would’ve done it myself, but their recent “remodel” involved putting the drink machine behind the counter. Overall, these people are rude and disrespectful every time I’m here. Employees always have an attitude and a stink eye ready to go. Shut this place down if you can’t afford better employees who care!
