Once again, we experienced multiple issues with our order tonight, and at this point, the level of service and quality being provided is unacceptable.
We ordered a large Coke and a large fries with extra salt. While we did receive the large Cokes, the fries were not large, had absolutely no salt, and were old and stale to say the least.
We also requested a large strawberry banana smoothie to go with the large fries as part of the 10-piece McNugget meal. Instead, we were given a small smoothie and medium fries—completely disregarding what we ordered and paid for.
This raises a rhetorical but very important question: If we order large fries with a large smoothie, why are we given a small smoothie and medium fries—without salt—alongside cold, soggy nuggets?
Not only was the order incorrect, but the overall customer service was unacceptable. The employees were busy laughing in the background rather than paying attention to the order being placed. The service quite frankly sucked, as it usually does. If the manager on duty required employees to remain professional, keep quiet, and ensure orders are taken and prepared properly (in English), these issues would not continue happening.
We are paying customers, and yet the food served was cold, soggy, stale, and flat-out nasty—not even warm enough to be considered edible quality. This is not the first time, and clearly, based on the reviews we found when we Googled the restaurant, it is an ongoing and widespread issue. The majority of the reviews highlight the same problems: horrible service, incorrect orders, and a lack of professionalism.
This situation needs to stop immediately. Perhaps the franchise owner should be notified directly, as the management and employees at this location are failing both the brand and its customers.
We are extremely disappointed, disgusted with the service and food quality, and frustrated that these problems persist without correction.

Update – McDonalds replied with a link to their Corporate site to post my issues. I did that. I’m sure they will offer me a small fry for free if I order a meal. This is BS. The part of all this that bothers me most is who would want to work there, and why do we as customers put up with this crap?
I happen to like an occasional trip to Micky Ds. It won’t be this location until the franchise owner wakes up and fires some folks. I read many reviews that shared similar concerns about this location. Power of the purse people!
Update 3 months later – still no word from my post to the McDonald’s site. They just don’t care.
This was one of the worst customer service experiences we have ever had.
From the very beginning at the drive-thru intercom, the employee’s tone was aggressive, dismissive, and hostile. My partner politely started placing our order in English, and the employee immediately interrupted her, repeatedly saying “I don’t understand” without letting her finish a single sentence. He abruptly told us to move to the window and cut off the intercom while the order was still incomplete.
At the window, the situation became even more uncomfortable. The employee continued interrupting, using rude gestures and a challenging tone, forcing my partner to repeat simple words and phrases multiple times, despite the order being very basic (nuggets, combo, drinks, fries). This was not a language issue — the intention was clear — but the way he acted felt deliberately humiliating.
At that point, the environment was so hostile that we felt intimidated as customers. We originally wanted to order six combos, but we avoided clarifying details like meal sizes simply because the employee clearly did not want to help us and made us feel unwelcome.
What was most disturbing was the clear sense of contempt in the way we were treated. As Latino customers, we genuinely felt that the repeated “I don’t understand,” the gestures, and the aggressive attitude were used to make us feel inferior and uncomfortable for not speaking “perfect” English. It felt discriminatory and deeply disrespectful.
To make matters worse, when we politely asked for our drinks with no ice, the response was an aggressive “No, that’s not possible. The machine is automatic and everything comes with ice.” Regardless of whether it was possible or not, the way this was communicated was unnecessarily rude and dismissive.
I later noticed there are recent reviews describing very similar behavior during the night shift, which suggests this is not an isolated incident but a pattern.
McDonald’s is a global brand known for consistent service standards. What we experienced that night was the complete opposite and left us feeling humiliated and powerless as customers.
On the first night, I came in with a friend to order food. While we were trying to order, fireworks went off from the building next door. The employee immediately accused us of causing a problem with his machine and blamed us for it, despite the fact that we had done nothing and were simply trying to place an order. Being falsely accused like that was inappropriate and uncomfortable.
The following night, I returned and once again did not receive my order. This is now two nights in a row where my order was not properly handled. When I attempted to pay using Apple Pay, the employee complained about having to walk a short distance to the card reader and acted irritated the entire time. That frustration should not be taken out on customers.
Between the false accusations, repeated failure to give me my order, and consistently hostile attitude, this employee has demonstrated that he should not be working in a customer-facing role. This is not a one-time mistake — it is a pattern.
I am requesting that management take this complaint seriously, review this employee’s conduct, and take appropriate disciplinary action. Customers should be able to order food without being blamed, disrespected, or denied service.
I expect this issue to be addressed. I will be calling tomorrow.
it’s not even busy. no excuses.
and don’t send a link requiring me to look up and save receipts and store codes. i’m not going to spend an hour over $5 of food.
this is NOT customer service. this is BS.
tell the store management that the employees are screwing up pick up orders.
