Most of the employees at this location are awesome! I’ve come in for breakfast and lunch pretty often over the past few years. This location is very efficient. Employees are kind and food is always fresh. They often ask if I want to wait on fresh fries or hash browns. The store is super clean on weekdays. 2 ladies always seem to go above and beyond. I asked their names last time I was in. Ms Debra always helps with my pick up order and Mrs. Carolyn keeps that store clean, at 70 yrs old! They are truly an asset of this team!

I always have a pleasant experience here with the staff. I deal with that woman directly almost everyday that the review was written about below this. That is so far from the truth. She’s 63-year-old and still writing reviews over 500 of them and claims not to be stirring up any drama

I have never been treated so disrespectfully. I went in and ordered at the kiosk. I needed unsalted fries because I have congestive heart failure. I didn’t know how to do it on the kiosk so I ask a lady who told another. Then I went to the restroom and came back and saw my order on the counter. Another lady, no name tag, picked up the bag and handed it to me. I told her i didn’t get my drink cup and she said, “its in the bag” I looked and it wasn’t there so I told her i didn’t get the cup, she again said it’s in the bag. So I sat it down and showed her. She said, “oh” and then handed me a cup. She was so rude, I told her i didn’t understand why she had an attitude with me. She rolled her eyes. Then she turned back around and very sarcastically said, “Have a nice day.” I told her to stop, her manager walked up at some point and I told her that this woman had been giving me an attitude, she looked and me and said, “her. Never?” They walked off giggling. I went and got my drink. Thinking to myself, I will just call corporate because obviously the manager there is get friend. When I got my drink I went to walk out and got a call. I was on the phone and she walked by me and said, “oh Lord.” I then turned around and told her she needed to stop. I asked her her name and told her i was going to call corporate. Her manager came back and she told her what i said, the manager said, oh well, ok. And they walked off together. I’m 63 years old and a professional. I don’t start nor do I like drama. I’m so sick of the entitlement in this world. Why can’t people be kind. I will never ever go back to this McDonald’s.

As a business professional who values quality and consistency, I’ve given this Lake Wylie location multiple chances — and every visit has been a letdown. The burgers are consistently overcooked, dry, and lack any real flavor. The buns are hard and stale, making the overall meal nearly inedible.
Even after politely raising these issues several times, management has never followed up or made any effort to improve. It’s clear that customer feedback isn’t a priority here. For what they charge, the quality and service fall far below acceptable standards.
If you care about fresh, properly prepared food, I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. I wish that I could give them all zeroes!

Was hoping to get a quick hot meal after working late. But the nuggets were dry and kinda tough. Fries were ok for once. The burger was the best of all. Can’t go wrong with a simple double cheese burger. The tea tasted like it had been there all day and was starting to turn.

Kitchen staff doesn’t know how to read a screen, food is always overcooked and the order is always wrong, maybe one time out of ten you will have the right order, I literally drive to Steele Creek or clover because at least then it’s a 50% chance of being right.

The lady at the 2nd window today March 8th at 1pm had the WORST attitude. She tried giving me a McFlurry that someone had just gave back to her with the spoon in it and Ice cream dripping on it! I said to her “you’re joking right?” And she took it back. Unbelievable! Reporting this location to the health department right now.

On a Sunday night the staff let cars queue for 15-20min in the drive through, just to tell them that they will not serve food if you don’t use the App or you ordered online. That is unprofessional and upset people which drive through ice and snow just to get some food.

This place has about a 20% chance of getting your order correct and about a 70% chance the staff will be rude. Trying to grab a quick bite while running errands is a mistake here. You’d do better to just eat one of your shoes and throw $20 in the trash.

Finished work at 9pm and placed an order on the app for a big Mac. Still waited about 10 mins for my order when there was only 1 car ahead of me. Got home, opened the box to see what looked like someone already took a bite out of the bun.
