When I got home, I realized it wasn’t even my order, and the burgers looked like they’d been made with someone’s feet.

After placing my order, the app incorrectly processed it at a McDonald’s location in Utah. I have never been to Utah and do not understand why the app defaulted to that location. I canceled and attempted to reorder at the correct location, but the app again processed it to the same Utah store. When I tried to change the location a second time, the app stated it was still processing the location change.
Because of this app malfunction, I had to send my daughter inside to place the order. I used a rewards coupon for a free frappe (4,500 points). The employee scanned my barcode, removed my points, but still charged us for the frappe. My daughter then had to return to the car to get additional money because the total was incorrect.
While she was doing so, she was told to “hurry up,” even though the error was not ours. This was embarrassing and unnecessary.
My original mobile order total was $6.78. However, due to the app issue and in-store errors, I was charged $12.94 and lost 4,500 reward points.
We appreciated that the kids’ meals offer milk as an option. The self-order screens were new to us, and the employees were polite, helpful, and patient when we needed assistance. Staff members were friendly and smiling, which made the experience comfortable.
Overall, it was an efficient and positive first experience.
UPDATE: 10/24/2025 – I went to this location again today. I ordered a large #3 double burger with bacon, a large fry, and a Coke Zero. I was given a #1 Big Mac meal with a medium fry and regular coke.
