The website says opens at 5am but apparently this is not true. I can understand waiting a few minutes but not a half hour. If the time you open is not correct have the decency to change it. I can choose to not eat at the McDonald’s on E Main St in Spartanburg (I choose not to again), unfortunately I can’t be compensated in the time I lost because of McDonald’s laziness or lack of apathy. Tried to do something positive with my 40 minute wait in the drive thru so I did this review. I hope it helps someone. I highly recommend going somewhere other than

I came here with my friend. This McDonald’s was comfortable and pretty clean, except for the women’s bathroom. The service was nice to us. We ordered lemonade tea, and a cute girl came up to us and said they didn’t have it she apologized. Overall, we had a good experience and would come back again.

We went here Saturday around 4:30 pm. The drive thru was packed and looked like it wasn’t moving so we decided to eat inside. We ordered 2 nugget happy meals, a 6 pc nugget, a cheeseburger and 2 small drinks, nothing custom. We waited for 30 mins for our order! The lobby was full of people waiting for their food. 2 guys stood at the register waiting to order for 20 mins. No one was taking orders at the register for a full 20 mins. The guys trying to order had to shout for someone to wait on them. People were walking out. The manager was useless. She even walked outside in the middle of the dinner shift and she wasn’t managing her team at all. There were so many teenagers working behind the counter and it seemed there was no organization at all. Finally after 30 mins a employee who had been taking orders at the drive thru saw me and asked about my order. He apologized and gave me a fry and pie for the trouble. Something seriously needs to be done about this location. I’ve went here several times recently and it always takes a long time.

Had the best end to a busy and upsetting day. Thank you to the two wonderful young men manning the windows of the drive thru last night at 6-7pm. The were so pleasant and friendly. Food was just as ordered and tasted great!

No soda machine in the lobby. Food was decent, guy that brought our food out was nice but yeah, as far as atmosphere goes.. McDonald’s is far from what it use to be, what was once a cheerful and colorful space now looks like the sad reality of private equity. Why have a red terracotta roof when you could build a gray box that could be turned into any other fast food restaurant. Just my opinion.

Last night I went to the McDonald’s on East Main Street, and the person who served me at the drive-thru around 10:30 pm. was rude and racist. I was ordering my food in English, and when she heard my accent, she said “hold on,” and a few minutes later, someone else served me in Spanish. I was surprised because I didn’t ask her to speak to me in Spanish, since I speak both languages, but my Latino accent, which I’m proud of, seemed to bother her. I found her behavior disrespectful, rude and racist!

I would love to know who is running this store. More than 45 minutes waiting curbside for an order. When we pulled in to our spot after placing our order there were no cars in the drive thru. While we sat there the person at the window stood with their back to the window and, as the drive thru filled up, several cars had to honk to get them to even pay attention. Finally had to go inside and be ignored by all, even the manager who just walked around yelling and not helping. They completely lost my whole order and then realized it had been sitting on the counter the entire time getting cold. No care at all, just an oh it’s this right here and then they walked away. Got home and half my order is missing. Worst service ever.

Have cockroach’s crawling across the kitchen in sight of customers. Very unsanitary. Will not ever eat here again. And the quality of customer service is poor. Manager had attitude along with the employees. Very disappointing use to love coming here.
