Pretty nice employees during 8pm, guy with pink hair kept asking us if everything was fine and I thought that was pretty nice I don’t really know any other McDonalds that does that lmao. Friendly employees and one of them actually complimented me which was a nice gesture.

This McDonald’s is in a great location near fun spots like Mac Daddies, and being open late is a plus. They also have some cute art inside, which adds a nice touch. However, the overall experience was disappointing.
The biggest issue was how slow everything was—orders took forever, and the staff seemed in no rush, even with a line forming. Two workers were outside talking for nearly 45 minutes while the dining area was a mess. There were old fries on tables, water stains and trash on the floor, and even boxes stacked near the entrance, which looked unprofessional.
The kiosks barely worked, the bathrooms were dirty, and there were “Caution: Wet Floor” signs everywhere, yet no one was actually cleaning. Our meal also had some hiccups, and the staff was slow to respond to issues.
For a late-night stop, you’d expect better upkeep and efficiency. Sadly, this visit was far from satisfying.

Such an awful situation to take my kids for a breakfast time! We ended out seating in a wet chairs and tables. The place seems like have leaks all over. This should be illegal to spend food! Also my meal come with a piece of bones in it (I ordered a sausage and egg biscuits)

Not to sound petty but this happens all the time. Arrived at 1155 no one in the lobby ordered food for me and my two kids then waited 20 min to get three items. And of course my sandwich was ice cold did want a refund but just wanted them to heat it up and when the did it was then ruined. Just disappointed even though I know it’s McDonald’s. I miss the old days when fast food was actually fast and not take as long as a sit down restaurant

We’ve had multiple issues with this McDonald’s, but today was the final straw that made me decide to write a review. Our entire Happy Meal was missing from the order, so we had to drive all the way back to get it. By the time we got home, everyone’s food was cold. We chose the Happy Meal option that comes with two fries, but when we opened it, one of the kid-sized fry containers was completely empty. The kid-sized fries are small as is, so with only one actually filled, it wasn’t enough for a full meal. This isn’t the first time we’ve had problems here, we’ve had multiple issues with items being missing from the order, food slapped together and extremely messy, food being cold when we get it..,and it’s happened often enough that it seems like a management issue rather than an occasional mistake. Some of the staff are great! Very friendly, professional, etc. But some are completely inefficient…they seem like they’re in a bad mood, very cold and short. When you tell them something was missing or whatnot, they act annoyed like you’re the problem.
It’s just inexcusable at this point, and they’re the closest McDonald’s for everyone in this area. Otherwise you have to go to Swansboro or Morehead.

If you want to eat in a timely manner, do not go to this store, or any McDonald’s owned by Purcell Foods. No customers in the dining room, and it took 20 minutes to get a Happy Meal.

This McDonald’s is a hit or miss. At times we have really good food that’s hot and fresh and other times it lacks for quality control. But just like any McDonald’s it’s a fast food joint to where you can get burgers fries and happy meals with a surprise. Can’t really say anything spectacular about this McDonald’s except for there are a majority of young workers that work there and that are very polite and get their jobs done efficiently. I’ve never had a problem with any employees that work here at this restaurant. They’re all very hard workers and if something’s wrong, they strive to fix it. If you want hot fries, then request fries to order and ask them for fresh hot fries.

Read a review about this sauce issue at this particular McDonald’s and sure enough it was right. Had a very similar situation to Evan from August 2025 and McDonald’s has this employee who I identify as the sauce bandit. Refuses to give extra sauce for larger meals $15+.. like one sauce for 4+ item come on.

I have the McDonalds app and for some reason mine does not work properly. This is the third time I’ve been there that I could not get my free rewards from my app bc the app wouldn’t reproduce a new code and no one there knew how or could fix it – so yet again. To bad so sad. The app is pretty much useless !
