I went through the drive-thru with my kids, and when we got home and started eating, I noticed what appeared to be BLOOD on the chicken nuggets and on the fries bag. This is by far the most disgusting and unsafe experience I’ve ever had at any fast food restaurant. Completely unacceptable and beyond unsanitary.
What made it even worse was how the situation was handled. I came in back to the store and made a complaint immediately, and the manager was absolutely no help—rude, dismissive, and acted like she didn’t care at all. No apology, no concern, just attitude. The Latina woman manager attempted to tell me that all the employees preparing food were wearing gloves, which was clearly not true. I saw several employees without gloves, and when I pointed that out, she responded with an attitude and even rolled her eyes. That level of carelessness is infuriating, especially when people’s health is involved.
It’s extremely alarming that employees may be handling food while injured, risking serious contamination. I have a 3-year-old and a 10-year-old who had already started eating before I noticed.
I’ve reported this to McDonald’s corporate and am still waiting on a response. This is unacceptable. Please take food safety seriously and hold your staff accountable—people’s health, especially children’s, is at risk
“I even reached out to Ray and Rose and left a voicemail, but I haven’t received any response. Situations like this need to be given higher priority.”
We paid assuming the order was correct. Wrong! The server is giving us one four piece kids meal and one chocolate milk. We told her that was wrong and tried to explain what we wanted. She didn’t seem to understand, but she took our receipt and went back and asked us to pull up to the next spot and wish she would bring the food out when it came, we got the quarter pounder and fish fillet with 3, 4 piece kids meals. Again, we explained to the server it’s supposed to be 46 piece kids meals. He went back in the store and the manager came out and said she would get us extra chicken nuggets to make up for the ones that we’re not in the kids meals and another kids meal. We ended up getting one six piece kids meal along with the 3, 4 piece kids meals. And we never received a receipt for either the first order or the second order. Sit down sit down.
On 1/10/26, I visited this location with my children. On 1/12/26, I realized I left my $220 North Face jacket in the play area. I called at 10:07 AM and again at 10:09 AM. Sensing something was off, I went in person to speak with the morning manager, Brenda.
The Cover-Up:
Brenda reviewed the security footage and confirmed everything: my arrival, the other families in the play area and the EXACT moment a McDonald’s employee picked up my jacket. She told me she would contact the employee. After I heard nothing for hours and my calls went unanswered, I returned on 1/13/26 at 9:30 AM. Brenda then completely changed her story, stating she “couldn’t confirm my identity, my jacket nor can she make an employee confess.”
The Management Failure:
I told Brenda: “If money was stolen from this register, you would certainly have an employee caught on camera confess. If a customer took it, I’d take the loss, but an employee you confirmed took my jacket.” She walked away from me. I then spoke to the supervisor, Jamie, who was dismissive, stating it was “difficult to determine where the jacket went and that I could call the police if I wanted.” Jamie was initially uncooperative in providing management names for a corporate complaint, stating she would “receive the complaint anyways & she will handle her employees as she sees fit.”
The Criminal Outcome:
I did involve the authorities. An officer took statements and called the employee, who ADMITTED to the officer she had my jacket and promised to return it at 2:00 PM, 1/13/26. When the officer and I arrived at 2:00 PM, the employee failed to show.
What should have been a simple lost-and-found recovery has now escalated into a criminal matter because of this staff’s dishonesty and management’s lack of accountability. I WAS a regular customer who just wanted my property back. My children and I will not be returning to an establishment that shields theft.
