This is one of the more disgusting locations located in Lexington, NC. Just about every single time we come here, we spend a good amount of money. We always end up having food left out of our bags, half of our food will be cold due to them waiting on other food to cook; and if we have to park and wait for the drive-thru, they will come out and walk the entire parking lot letting everyone’s food get cold while they pass out multiple orders which casues our food to be icy by the time we get ours.
The service is horrible, although there is some very nice respectful people working here once in a while. The resturant, inside and out, is almost always filthy, trashy, oily, flies flying around, and it seems as if some of the workers are in the same condition. The food is usually edible but you will have a large belly ache after.
I would highly advise against eating at this location, the hwy 8 location is always much better!!

To Glowy Josh and Manager Zack, we dont live around here but you guys made us wish we did!! Between fast service and amazing customer service skills you guys made my little family feel extremely welcome and cared about. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all of your checking on us to see if we need anything and watching you treat everyone the same way really warmed my heart!! The 3 of you put Chic-fil-a’s customer service to shame and I dont think I have ever been to a chic-fil-a that I didnt appreciate their customer service as well. This McDonald’s is OK. The people are normally friendly and the food is regular McDonald’s food. Occasionally, when you visit inside, no one wants to take your order and you have to place it on the kiosk thing. – Even if you don’t want to place your order there, the workers will pretend like they don’t see you, or be very hateful about having to work front counter. They’re also real grumpy about giving cups. So avoid indoor dining. Stick to the drive-through and this McDonald’s won’t disappoint.

The morning crew that worked at 6 am on 11/29/25. They don’t know how to read I ordered a regular mocha frappe and I was given one that had extra ice in it…. All I can say is I couldn’t drink it at all and I had to buy a mocha Starbucks drink just to make the ratio better so I can actually drink it and everyone had an attitude problem. This is the slowest mcdonald’s. If you go through the drive through you are told to wait in a spot after paying. If you order ahead for drive through or pickup you will still wait for 10 minutes minimum. I don’t know if they have staffing or workflow issues but there has never been a visit where we didn’t have to wait 10-20 minutes for food.

this is unacceptable first they didn’t place my order right in the drive-through because I only asked for one cheeseburger with no pickles and they gave me two cheeseburgers with no pickles. They did not listen to me. And then my order was supposed to come with a 10 piece chicken nugget and they gave me six where the other four chicken nuggets I haven’t even started eating them. I’m so pissed. I didn’t even eat my chicken nuggets because I only have six and not 10. The people in the window was very rude and the lady gave me open honey packets and I asked for different ones and she said those are the only ones we have, but they were open and all stuck together. this is not the kind of service I want and this is unacceptable. I would not recommend this McDonald’s.

Flies on the wall, incorrect order, 30 min for a drive thru order. I work near this location and unfortunately frequent its drive thru. Absolutely horrid – 90% of the time the order is not right. Your order may have been given to someone else which then prompts a park and wait; which averages 15 min at least. Usually you have to go in and get it and when you do you practically reorder with someone who acts like they have no clue what you’re talking about. Not to mention the host of flies sunning themselves on the walls inside. One or two ok, but more than 10, I notice.

When I entered that McDonald’s the experience was amazing there wasn’t any wait in the line, there’s plenty of tables that are clean. But I will say that if you want to go through the drive-thru it’s a really long line I recommend going inside the McDonald’s
